    Decameron Restaurant

80-150, I am assuming you are quoting companionship prices. Well 100 or so has always been "Miramar" club standard.

They were quoting 100 at the Comodoro 20 years ago.

And of course they were flocking to the "bid spenders" at the bottle service club. Happens in the States too, even if just to drink for free.
I've been saying this for a couple years now, one of the biggest problems in Cuba is finding food that you actually eat without getting the dry heaves. If you happen to venture outside of Havana it gets much, much worse. I've have eaten at every upscale restaurant that I could find in Havana, there are 2 Paladors that stand head and shoulders above the rest.

    - for authentic Cuban dishes it's "LOS Amigos".

    - for Steak, Salad and a nice bottle of Wine it's "Decameron" - hands down the best in Havana!

I'm more of a high end steak house guy and very few countries offer that, so Cuba would rank with DR, Costa Rica, and Philippines on shitty food level. I think Cuba has a lot to offer for the right kind of guy, but I prefer Philippines the most right now. Day game is better and massages are cheap.

Oh another thing Cuban chicks have tons of tattoo's, I was kind of shocked how common it was. I'm not into them at all, but can look past them for a gem.

How to connect to local girls by phone or internet?

    Bathers,

I am new to this forum. I am planning to visit Cuba and try to enjoy the mongering there. I read some previous posts. But I got a question on how do you connect to local girl?

Do they use cell phone regularly?

Do they response the message or phone call? Maybe the message or phone call is too expensive to them?

Do they have any popular social media could reached?

Is that possible to by a local sim card for a week tour?

What did you spend $500 per day on in Havana? That seems like a lot of money for a third world country.

Know what you mean about the taxis, plus the ever present pay in CUC get change in CUP trick.

These penny ha'penny scams are part of the charm to be honest. I'd expect to get a bit scammed for something or other during my vacation. That's the way it is in La Habana.
Got to be smart about it, just give them the exact amount in CUC that they request, and not worry about change.

Follow up post, end of trip kind of sucked. Got a little sick from walking in the heat all day and then hitting the crazy cold AC. Havana is pretty great, for a bachelor party it's perfect. But like DR it's kind of too weighted on the night. The girls are crazy hot, but I can only do a couple nights of partying until 3 in the morning. I think if you stayed for a couple months and had a harem built up it would be great. I had this girl trying to fight her way back in a lot. She'the leave 10 messaged on Cuban cell and 20 on whatsapp, it got a bit ridiculous but she was how and nice. Just not really my girl next door type.

It's only $10 to Fantaxy and Mi tuyo from downtown Havana. Not bad really. But at least at Fantaxy it seemed the more you were dropping on drinks the more the girls flocked to you. We met a couple American dudes not really liking the drink prices and they were having a hard time with the ladies, we never had to move from our table though they always came to us.

I didn't find anyone quoting anything near 40, I was getting 80-150. I tried once to get the girl from 80 to 40 and she passed this was on Malecon, I wasn't all that interested to I passed but next night gave her another try and she said 50 so I gave it a shot. One of worst experiences of my life, I kicked her out pretty fast. I didn't see anything very good on Malecon or la rampa. Not sure why people are saying those are the spots unless it's late at night but by then I'm at the club. If they got some massage parlors and stuff this would be the perfect place for me, but until then I'm throwing it in the bag of eh I can only take 2 days of partying and at that point I'the rather pay 300-$500 for a girl here state side who I know is solid.

Oh yeah one set of girls rode in taxi with us from Fantaxy another did not. Roughly spent $500/ day not including airfare and airbnb, which was significantly better for my buddy and I who I traveled to DR with. We were well over a grand there. But food was better, found some shawarma place I liked other than that it was basically dry lobster. If I had a couple months and could get out of havana I might try in again, there are so many hot girls there. Also they need Uber. Happy travels! Oh yeah I got thoroughly searched and asked quite a bit at customs on the way back. A little surprising because I've been searched before but really fast, they did a deep search this time and asked for photos. Orlando entry.

    Uber where are you?

Umm, well that depends what you call "anywhere else".

It's actually very much in the center of Miramar. Close to Melia Habana. Comodoro. Go up the hill to Tropicana and Marianao.

But the other poster is correct. You will get absolutely gouged on taxis. And transportation is and has been a huge issue in La Habana for over 20 years.

if you are more or less Miramar based, then location is quite good. If you are in Vedado or worse yet Centro.Habana Vieja - then it is a "country mile"

actually like 6, or 7 miles

Como dijo el gobierno cubano en frente de la embajada de Yuma No tenemos miedo. Go back over the posts and then directly ascertain who is doing the misspelling.

    Por favor?

    Agree.

Don't be offended guys, but when I say have you got the address that's because I couldn't find it, links or no links. Maybe I am a bit dumb when it comes to computers but if we keep saying "check google" or its "in the link" then this is going to be a dull forum. If I had the answer and someone asked I would quickly insert it and send, its as quick as that. I suspect everything you ever want to know in your life is somewhere in Google, but isn't half the fun communicating with each other!

If I have anything to share then I will just send it, links or no links.

    Thanks.
There is definitely a club northish of calle 13 above avenida Los Presidentes. I went half a dozen times. Its exclusive and when full had about 200 people, ranging from chicks 25 yrs to 60 year old well groomed tourists. I spoke to Mexicans, a guy from Honduras and two Spanish guys all there on business. At least 20 free lancers all well dressed. Great security and not a sniff of bother. I can't remember the name of the place. It looks like any big old house in the street and is very quiet outside. Two big sound proofed doors keep all the sound inside.

Ask around and find that one. Fabrica de arte didn't do it for me at all. Watch out for the trannies in the clubs. Those dark clubs and strobe lights hide everything. You can begin to get very close to what you think is a stunning bird and its actually a bloke! I had a close call and it rocked my boat I had a lucky escape.

Theres a bar a few doors down from casa de musica in central, that had 20 freelancers in and was great. Just tables and a bar and the girls were coming over all the time but not in an aggressive way.

I am looking forward to trying out a number of different bars this time.
