I'm talking about the downstairs of the buildings in Santa Fe I've seen on youtube videos, where you can see all the girls just hanging out waiting for clients. I guess you don't have to take them for any drink, was just getting a bit confused thinking about Thaispice's comments about the club ripping him off ! Actually, I'm just like you, if a woman asks me to buy them an expensive drink, I tell them I prefer to spend my money on the chica, that way I'm making my point, and letting them know also that they're not wasting their time !

Wow! Just found this website, some nice looking chicas on that! This is a sister website to slumi.com in Spain which I have used before. I didn't realise the prepagado market was so well developed in Colombia, in the DR for example you can forget about finding something similar! When a chica puts $ 150 as her price, does that mean 150,000 peso or 150 USD. I hope peso's!! Damn.......I have to get to this country urgently and start ruining my bank account !

I don't know which building doorways you are talking about. The casa or the bar, or the strip club, the restaurant, the beauty shop, or the disco. You would have to be more specific. Funny thing. Over in the Sosua thread, Thailand threads, Philippines threads guys talk about buying a chick drinks first and if you don't buy drinks the girls will think you are cheap, etc. Well in Santa Fe forget all that bullshit. I don't think a chick has ever asked me for a drink (maybe in La Piscina). They are there to get money for fucking. You don't have to pussyfoot around the issue or kiss up to them by buying drinks and stuff. Just get the price and go to the room. Same as it is with all hookers in my eyes. I don't play too much into the fantasy or the "interview/warming up process. " She is here to get money and I am here to get pussy. I went last Saturday to Chicas Milenio and it was closed. I stopped by on Tuesday and the situation was the same. I found the guy that works in the door of Chicas 2000 (the casa located at the front of Chicas Milenio) and the guy let me in using an alternative door. Inside, I found only 3 girls working and one of them explained to me that both places were intervened by the police the last Friday.

I was there (Calle 71 #14 A-24) just now. Both places are closed. A guy on the street told me that police shut down Chicas Milenio because they put up signs outside. It's only allowed as long as it's discrete. He said Chicas 2000 should be open again on Monday.

And he gave me a paper with an address and said the girls are there. Calle 67 #23-24 piso 3. This place is not on the map yet.

Hey guys, I'll be coming to Colombia for the first time in late January for at least 3 weeks. I speak pretty good Spanish and have mongered a lot in Europe, the DR and Argentina, though all I know about Colombia is what have read and seen online. I've read back many pages here, but still have to ask some annoying newbie questions.

I would like to rent an Airbnb place near the centre and Santa Fe, what neighborhoods should I be looking at? Is Santa Fe within walking distance of the centre, shops cafes etc? Are taxi's there cheap / safe? What about the metro? Is Santa Fe safe to walk around during the daytime, I see it gets dark around 6 pm. I'm a bit of a lone wolf, so if I don't find myself in a group of guys, is it unsafe to walk around there at night? Can you take a chick you see standing in one of those building doorways up to the room without buying any drinks first, I assume so. Thaispice was saying La Casona nightclub tried to rip him off for drinks, is that typical, or what clubs should be avoided there?

I've been to Colombia over ten times and have had an excellent experience each time. Overall I have been to Bogota the most due to the friendly prices and the fact that there are more options there then anywhere else. I've never stayed in Santa Fe but stay close around 10-15 minutes by taxi. Taxis and Uber are safe. I did have one uber driver try to rip me off in Medellin but that's not the norm. I now have a personal driver in Bogota for convenience.

I only go to Santa Fe for chicas and nothing else so I can't comment on food and lodging. I've walked around Santa Fe at 3 pm and even at 3 am. It's sketchy so I recommend a wingman for first time and speaking Spanish makes things easier. Another option is befriend a taxi driver who can show you around. Any chick standing around you can just grab and she will take you to a motel. I've been to most of the clubs there and the la Casona incident was a one off. You have to remember you are looked at as a rich tourist so you always have to be on guard for the hustle.

As far as chicas, there are so many there you will find what you like and don't think there is a particular club for what you like.

I'm actually going to be there the end of January too and plan to stay at around SF for the first time at Hotel Oceania. Area looks shady but its walkable to Santa Fe and I'll be with friends so we are going to give it a try.

I've done the online ads in Bogota and both times were bait and switch so I don't recommend that.

I'm into very curvy women, ass and tits all the way! Are there clubs that are better for this type? (nearer the centre if possible). And I also like mulattas and black chicks, they don't have to be European looking! To me a pretentious club with skinny Barbie girls asking me to buy them champagne is my idea of a a boring nightmare. I will take a 30 year old with a big smile and a nice rack and ass over that any day!

Just a quick warning. Last month I was in Bogota and went to La Casona night club in the red light. My friends and I sat down for some beers and this shady promoter with spiky hair and neck tattoos kept bringing girls to our table. We refused most of them but a few stuck around. Close to closing time this guy then brings drinks for them without asking if it was OK with us and demanded 250 k for the drinks.

We refused and the bar empties as they are closing. There were about 10 guys meanly staring at us as we argued with the promoter. Luckily we had a group and after 20 minutes I gave him 50 k for the drinks and walked out with my crew. The promoter yells out us as we walk out but ultimately does nothing besides verbal threats. This guys speaks very good English but is a hustler. I would avoid this place. Please be careful out there guys.

Is there a drop off in terms of girl quality in between these two cities? Or just different in terms of what city has to offer?

Literally, spent few weeks reading about Medellin but Bogota is way more convenient due to the availability of direct flight from where I live.

Realized that Bogota isn't discuss much as Medellin so wasn't so sure why in desperate of being a capital city.

I was in Bogotá for business. Thanks to the excellent maps from WorldTravel69, I realized a joint was a mere 150 meters from my hotel. Bar Juan Pablo Zhivago in the "Bogota-North" map. The place was totally unmarked, no signs or anything, just a dude hanging out in front.

I paid about COP 25 k for beers, 35 k for girl drinks, 100 k for the room ("privado" The rooms aren't quite set up for straight sex, they're karaoke rooms with couches, to entertain groups of asians. They put a sheet over the couch for me. I paid the gal US $100, mostly because I felt sorry for her because she was Venezuelan. Mostly GFE, slight upsell tactics. Not the most economical joint in Bogota, but definitely the most economical place within 200 meters of my hotel. No fuss, no muss, all safe and easy.
