Become familiar with the Budapest Public Transport Map, on the wall in baggage claim at the airport, on the web, or available for free at most hotels and TI centers. This map shows how to get around the city, via either Metro or bus or trolley. And, it is easy. Buy in tickets of 10, just over a buck a piece. Makes life in Budapest so easy.

I generally agree with the discouraging answers you received about the streetwalker scene in Budapest, even though the overall picture is not so entirely desperate. Actually there are (or at least can be) some rare but remarkable niche opportunities, but in order to capture them, and in comparison to the normal incall and outcall services, there you should indeed have detailed and updated local knowledge plus fluent Hungarian plus time and patience, and finally a lot of luck. And with the exception of the last, these are typically the resources that an occasional foreign tourist will not have, so I would also head you off from taking any risks. (Moreover, now the summer half of the year is over, and in the winter it's even more difficult.).

I just got back from my third trip to Budapest this year, which makes 7 weeks total. On this trip, I noticed more streetwalkers on Vaci utca than ever before. I usually ignore them but two very cute gals from Ukraine came up to me and we chatted briefly and then went on our way. I told them I was headed to dinner and had already made plans for later in the evening and it happened to be my last night.

Two more hints for finding and reading the reviews on the two major sites.

1. On beszamolok if you use the English version, all the Hungarian reviews will be shown translated by google (which is often more fun then it is useful), but if you jump to the Hungarian version, you will see all the reviews in their original language, so you can check it in a moment which was written in English in the original, and focus on them. (On rosszlanyok it is different, and all the reviews are shown in their original language by default in any version you choose.).

2. On rosszlanyok you can see how many "accepted" and "refused" reviews a certain girl has received (in case the girl allows reviews at all), but usually people think they can read only the accepted ones, as in case of the refused ones you can see only the number of them and the name of the sender (s) at first click. However, you can actually read the refused reviews as well, if you continue with a click on the name of the sender (s) and then again on the "refused" button on their personal sites.

And as it has been mentioned here several times: the reviews on beszamolok are very strongly filtered, while even among the "accepted" reviews on rosszlanyok you can have the chance to read more critical opinions, not to mention the refused ones, so the overall picture should be more realistic on the latter site.

Thank you for your comment, and sorry for replying so late, I was off the topic for a while. As for the choice between the girls, I'd come to the same conclusion, but then I had to put off the whole project for personal and scheduling reasons, and now I kinda lost my drive about it in general.
