There are lots of scams going on for the past few years and has now become a pandemic, with reportedly thousands of girls doing this. There is no massage if you are in a salon, it is not a massage parlor. There are massage parlors, but they are a different kind of place. Many of them have started only giving body to body massages with happy endings, no sex. It is often skilfully done, but personally I like sex (so I avoid them and go to salons.

The salon procedure is typically as follows:

You call up the salon and ask them whether / how many girls they have available. Some show this on their website with pictures, but you still have to call and say you are coming and get directions. They may tell you that they are full, which may be true or may be because they detect you are a foreigner and fear you are dark-skinned or Muslim, which some of them don't like. When I call them I seize the first opportunity to say that I am from X western country, and then they usually relax.

Better forget other frases than Privyet and Do svidanya.
