What about clinica girls? I know from other mongering I'm not likely to find clinicas to my preference but if the reviews are better I might try harder there. None of the clinica web sites seem to list a daily schedule though so it's hard to match a girl to a specific time and place.

It hasn't always been this way, there was time when reviews were more comprehensive of all the places and free lancers. But for at least the last year if not more, when a new never before reviewed provider is reviewed, the admin will edit the thread, remove the phone number and post a note saying that the thread is blocked until the provider register and authorize. It's a very inconsistent rule, it seems to only apply to new providers, its quite possible that providers who were already had reviews before the new rule was instituted were grandfathered in, I really don't know. But I do know that new providers must register and send a PM or public post to the attention of the admin. Its a one time authorization, its not an every review authorization.

Its also inconsistent in that this only applies to free lancers. The reviews for the "places" like clinicas and boates do not require any authorization from the provider herself. However, the "place" can request to be omitted from the site. Many of the high end places France Bel, Bomboa, and others have "opted out" and therefore no reviews of those places are present. Those places consider gp-guia to be an exposure risk I suppose. While other places with their gp-guia fidelity programs consider gp-guia to be effectively "free marketing'.

Re gp-guia, its a frustrating mix of great information and terrible implementation. Search by phone number is god awful. Its better to use google to search for a phone # and hen look for gp-guia in result set than use the gp-guia search itself. Its great for clinica GP reviews but shitty for boate reviews. The "acompanhante" free lance reviews are hit and miss. There are far fewer "beware" reviews than I would like, probably because the site now requires consent from providers to allow reviews. A bad provider has no incentive to allow reviews and that may be one reason there are so few, And also many good "new" providers do not even know about gp-guia, it takes a member to apprise them of the side and indicate how they can register. As for the quality of the reviews, it depends on the quality and tastes of the reviewer. Some reviewers are perceptive and others are not. I find my taste is more demanding than a lot of the Brazilian guys so I pretty much rely on reviews to just warn me of bad apples.

Do I have to come down? Can the girl just register at the front desk and then come up? Also I don't mind coming down, even meeting them for a drink etc but my lack of Porto makes that a bit awkward. If we could talk in Spanish I'the be perfectly happy to do it.

I know many of us from the Purtanical US, including me, find it awkward to talk about such things. But really, it being perfectly legal and common in Brazil, maybe just ask? I really doubt they would be surprised if you called down to the front desk and said you are having a young lady over later and what process do you need to follow.

As I said, when they made her register it was like a well oiled machine where they do this all the time.

My experience is you can't just get the girl straight to your room. I had a girl come at 3 or 4 PM and thought I could casually walk with her to the elevator. Was surprised by an excuse me sir. And had to register her at the front desk. They took her ID and made he fill out a form. It was no big deal but happened to me at two different hotels.

The turnover on clubmodel.com is extremely high. However, you can find the majority of them at Scandallos, also.

Interesting to know that the girls off those high end sites also work at Scandallos. Hadn't heard that mentioned before. It might also explain why there seems to be no Scandallos thread on gpguia.

Went there this Sunday because I remembered that they have freelancers on the weekend. There were 38 names on the list of girls present, many of them freelancers. On Sundays (or at least this Sunday), there is also a discount on price: you get an hour session, normally Real 220, for the half hour price, Real 190. Did a dupla at the normal price of Real 320, with two freelancers, Sheila and Jacqueline. Nice session, but lacking the intimacy of a one-on-one session. Yes, "bureaucracy" can refer to building security "portaria", not to be confused with "putaria". Some places require presentation of ID.

They may photocopy your passport, take a photo of you, call the girl and if OK they send you up or the girl has to come down to pick you up.

Try using an active phone number you find on the internet. Perhaps a hotel. You don't even need to be staying there. Back in the day when they required a Brazilian social security type number, I just hijacked one I found on the internet.

First, Steve, thank you for this excellent post.

Second, how old is the "average" monger in SP? I know is common to see men in their 50's in an FKK. Will they have a hard time finding a WG in SP? SP sounds more appealing because of the GFE aspect, but I can't compete against mongers in their 30's.

Other than learning some of the language, is there anything else you can recommend for an older monger?

As a new monger, I'm trying to decide between FKK Sharks or SP.

I have no idea what the average age is, but I am mid-fifties and the girls I was with were all early or mid twenties. Without exception they seemed THRILLED to go with me. I am reasonably trim and have most of my hair but honestly I am pretty sure that doesn't matter. I have to say Brasileiras seem to look past age much easier than others from what I can see.

Can't say that my experience with Thifany is typical (she is the one I flew to London for a week after knowing her for a total of five hours) but she is 23 (had her birthday dinner in London!) and said she prefers older men. She said her last boyfriend was also in his fifties and that younger men are more rough and demanding. FWIW.

But in summary, you need no game. Only cash and a willingness to engage.

That said, the FKK is EASIER if you are new to this most of the girls speak some English and the rooms are right onsite. If you do Brazil and have the coin, then do Scandallo similar to FKK on the 'ease of use' front.

That's quite an extreme difference in Geographical location. And different women. Some guys can only handle European, white girls, and other guys like myself like them caramel coated.

If you have no experience in Latin America, it is not the ideal, entry level destination for someone who feeling confident as a monger (unless you have a wingman to show you around). I admit I had no experience in South America when I did my first ever, dedicated mongering trip to Medellin. But, I'd had some P4P experiences in the US and Germany previously and I was feeling ready for anything after that. If you are going solo, you might consider Thailand or the Philippines, where they make it real easy for you. While I would not want you to over think your mongering debut, I do think you should RETHINK this a bit. When you narrow it between a particular FKK in a particular city in Europe and no particular place in a particular city in South America, you have pretty much excluded 99% of the mongering options. There might be a better place for you to get your feet wet and not have as many details to worry about. Just a thought.

For me, the caramel coat is something I'm used to in the US.

That's quite an extreme difference in Geographical location. And different women. Some guys can only handle European, white girls, and other guys like myself like them caramel coated.

But as far as language goes, its not an issue in Germany. When I lived there back in 1980, it was difficult to learn German because the Germans were so fluent in English. They'd get tired of listening to you attempt German and just start talking to you in English. I had to assert myself to learn the language (which I sadly forgot in the past decade or two). Now I'm trying to learn Portuguese for a trip to Brazil next year. This is one reason Germany is popular with Anglophones. Its also ultra modern, has a good infrastructure as well as being expensive in most aspects with boring, bland cuisine. But, its a safe country and a good entry level destination. All you need is cash. And if you plan to do a lot of mongering, you will need a lot of it.

How would you imagine you would be competing with younger mongers? I just turned 61 and believe me, my age is the last thing I care about. There is no competition in mongering. That would be like competing with younger diners for the attention of a waitress in a restaurant. Except that mongers are usually vastly outnumbers by working girls in most situations. Working girls are competing for mongers, as you will soon find. They are hunting for you, not the other way around. In some places of the Dominican Republic, they can swarm you and solicit you rather aggressively (see my Trip Reports in the Boca Chica forum back in February 2017). Some working girls prefer older mongers because they are presumed to have less stamina and will finish quicker (that's not to say we won't make them work hard for that money).
