Having read Routard's comprehensive report about Bogota on the FAQ's, I reckon Chapinero would be a good neighborhood to stay in, as there is daytime and nightime action there and it's not too far from Santa Fe either. The brothels / clubs seem to be all over the place there from my google map reseach, as do the hotels there. Is there any part of Chapinero where many clubs / brothels are concentrated? I can't see that from my research. As as European, I would like to be able to walk to a few, and not hop around all over the place constantly by Taxi, in the daytime at least.

I've also seen a lot of availability of nice Airbnb places in Chapinero, I noted what Routard said about them having doormen / security. What's the general policy there about bringing visitors to your place, as long as they have ID its no problem for the security? I noticed on one apartment for rent, where they stated clearly 'No escorts allowed!' But for all others I checked there was no mention about it. Wouldn't really like to ask the host before booking 'Is it OK to bring visitors', unless I have to. So what's the general policy?

I walked around Santa Fe at 11 pm on Friday. Plenty of girls but none I would get hard for, they may be young but I don't find them fresh or cute. And the touts outside the clubs are like flies, many and persistent, but you can wave them off. If you want the most number of girls in the shortest time for the least money, this is where to come.

My limiting factor, however, is not money or time but leches, so I prefer quality to quantity. Here you have my recommendation for the other end of the spectrum, an establishment with five-star rooms and five-star service:

Nearby is a place I reported a while back as Akira. The correct name is Adhara. Maybe four-star to Nanxing's five.

Is that the typical shape of chicas in the brothels there, because to me they all look too similar and not my type, slim with small tits! I didn't go into the clubs this time but before and I didn't find the girls inside so different from the girls outside. Some walk in and out, as well. When you go inside, the tout fill follow you, sit you at a table, ask which beer you want and probably overcharge you for it.

Obviously, your taste in girls is very different from mine, and that's all right. Just come down here, go everywhere and find out what works for you. Dude you are overthinking it. Go stay in Bogota then hop in a taxi and say Santa Fe. Get out and walk around and choose a chick to go to a room with. Hop back in a taxi and go back to where you are staying. Or if you are like me, walk back to your hotel.

Yes, maybe you're right! I know a few more of my answers now actually after looking at the Bogota lists and FAQ's. Though it's not very helpful checking out the street scene action on Google maps, maybe they filmed on a Sunday morning or something, but didn't see many women around, compared to those I saw on the youtube videos. And too much google street trawling there, would put you off going, as there's some pretty dodgy looking streets! On the Bogota lists, the amount of Casas and Nighclubs is staggering, how the hell will I ever decide where to go?

A few more questions I'm afraid. What street should I look at on google maps if I want to see the centre of street action in Santa Fe? La candeleria is the city centre, right? Generally safe to wander around there? Where are the majority of clubs, in Santa Fe or elsewhere?
