This place is on Marine Drive (Kollupitiya), it's called "the spa" & is attached to a hotel. I checked with that hotel & they mentioned that the spa is in their building however it's operated by the JH management.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. I agree the standard has fallen significantly. JH Lite has not Disappointed for the three times I've tried so far.

Would love to hear your Red Apple spa encounter. Is it worth going there?

I'm talking about the JH main one. Not lite. Last Wednesday wanted some Thai action and made a booking at JH. It is expensive than the JH Lite but since it's a walking distance from me at the time choose to go there. I made the appointment 1 HR prior and when I asked what rooms are available they said few room numbers. Having no recent encounters in that place and no recent recommendations from ISG I just selected room number 2. Everything was ok up until that.

The issue occurs after I went to the place. Once I went there and told my mobile number and appointment time they said "Sorry sir, the appointment is cancelled". No reason or whatsoever. So I asked to get another room since when I called there were couple of rooms available. The counter guy said all are now booked. It was huge appointment. An hour ago there were few available. Now none. I guess they got a gruop booking or something and they cancel others. They said we were going to call you. But I was there at my appointment time. What time were they going to call?

This has never happened to me before. Early days there was a old Thai lady in the counter and she is friendly too. Now the professionality is going down as per my opinion. I saw in some thread that this thai lady is working in some other JH like msg place. Is that true? Can anyone give an insight about that?
