I had mixed fortunes. In Neptune111 I met Christine who liked the horizontal refreshment position and stayed all the night for $1000. Not a bad price and she did not leave in the morning without trying to make you feel good for the rest of the day. Unfortunately when I met her on the Saturday she either had too much to drink or was on drugs and was basically a nuisance. She even followed me to Taboo where I had to totally ignore her.

A good honest review. I am afraid I am in the "it is not as good as it used to be" brigade. Bars have been getting quieter since that madman did his deadly deed on Halloween years ago, but this coincided with the online apps becoming more popular. I think you need a strong online game now.

The bars can still be fun, be very much pick your time and day, even then a lot of it is luck. The days of all bars / clubs being busy most days are long gone. Saddest for me was Makati, it used to be excellent most nights and busy busy. I haven't seen it like that for years, aside from DH Sunday between 3 and 7.

Neptune111 dead. About 3 girls in there. New Laguna gave the impression it was closed. More bar staff than customers. HK Café only had a few girls sitting round the bar and nothing worth looking at. Amazonia was half full. But mainly with guys. New Makati was totally devoid of any girls at all.

Sparks (the old Borocay) had a few girls around the bar but I think it was a meeting of the ugly club. Sorry, but true.

The only place that was busy was Taboo. Packed one minute, not so bad the other. Plenty of pushy girls looking for drinks all the time and the drinks, not only in Taboo, but in all the other bars are getting ridiculously expensive. Two "cocktails" the other night set me back over $500. I'm not a cheap Charlie but that is beyond a joke. Plenty girls milling around the street outside the bar.

Was accosted by a Chinese girl outside who was like a limpet. She even followed me in to the bar and would not leave. She quoted $2000 for all night but it would be like sleeping with an ashtray as she was reeking of smoke. A turn off for me. I eventually ditched her when she went out for another smoke. Eventually returned to my hotel but on my way got a call from Maddie to say she was free, was in hk café and could she come to my hotel. Maddie was a girl I met on either Friday or Saturday in HK Café from Laos who turned out to be an enjoyable pretty girl who was into horizontal refreshment in a big way and was certainly not new to the game if you know what I mean. Have to say think Dan is giving the gents false hope. It's tough to find a freebie in a Wanchai bar, especially during weeknights which is hooker time. And even on weekends the DH types are skilled at hooking drinks in which they receive a commission. You can get independent ladies to visit Lantau, though you will pay extra.
