The name is Tai Mei Hao spa. It looks like really luxury Thai spa. Hard to miss when you are there.

Just got back from Changshou. Quite easy to get to exit 4 from Jianning lu subway station (line 13).

The building is unassuming with an old elevator. Spa is located on the 4th floor with a tutoring center on the 3rd floor.

Price is Y288 for BBBJ.

Unfortunately, it was (or became) too popular. Depending on what time you go, you sometimes had to wait, and sometimes you had to wait in the lobby area. But yeah, I did like the place for a while. There was a month where I went pretty much every other day. After all, why not? LOL. But eventually, the dank, unclean, cold, and wet rooms, the cigarettes in the showers, the wet beddings, the tiny and still damp towels, etc. , got me turned off. I am pretty sure I got sick one time because of the poor conditions of that place. Reading about recent scam experiences in Shanghai (remember Scamhai - LOL), we should not forget that CNY is approaching fast and lots of girls / operators need to make sufficient money to face the folks back home. I agree. I have also talked to two friends in SH that have clearly told me this is a scam. Just block her, delete her and move on. Finding a taxi or didi in SH takes longer than 20 minutes. One friend told me that they helped another guy, who paid 5,000 (she wanted 50,000), but he had sex with her without a condom.

I just wanted to make everyone aware that this scam exists. Even if I had paid, I am sure there would be another message of "the procedure did not work, I need another 12,000" or something like that. It seems that this scam is very common in Thailand from what I have seen.

But while I cannot give your 100% reassurance, I can tell you one thing for sure. I read the forum quite often, have never posted, but have had many adventures in China over the years. Last week I found myself in a situation that I need to share with you. Perhaps maybe you have had it occur to you but it was a scary situation for me.

In June, I met this girl on TanTan and we met and got together. We had oral sex and that was it. She claims she is a student and she needed some money to help her out. So I gave her some and all was good. I added her on WeChat and talked to her off and on for the next few months (maybe a few messages a month). Lot of "I am waiting for you", "I am your girlfriend", etc. Since I travel to China quite often we met again at the beginning of November and finally did the deed. She tried to ask me for taxi money before she came and saw me, but I refused. She asked for money "to help her out" which I took as "I need money to have sex with you".

Fast forward three and a half weeks later, I get a WeChat message, that says she missed her period and we need to talk. I used a condom when I had sex with her and it did not break and looked completely normal when we finished. I deleted her but forgot to block her. Anyway, the next morning, I get a friend request "I am pregnant, I will call the police". So I accept her and talk with her for a while, making it clear it was not mine. She said it is yours, lets do DNA, I will get a lawyer, etc. I said then get an abortion, and she told me that she needs 12,0000 rmb for the abortion. I said no, only 5,000 rmb. (Always have that little doubt in the mind that the condom worked it has like a 2% failure rate). She said OK, and that she would got to the hospital right now. "I am on my way", "meeting with Doctor now", etc. Were the messages for the next 20 minutes. She said that the Doctor said it would cost 12,000. I said send me a picture of you at the hospital. Ten minutes later she said that she couldn't and she was back already. She kept up with "you are shirking your duty", "don't you want me to have a good hospital for the service", "you should come here and we go together", "get one of your Chinese friends to help you", "do you want me to be born", and "lets get married". All this for the next 20 minutes. Eventually, I said that 5000 was sufficient, and she kept saying "insufficient". I finally, blocked then deleted her.

I have done some research online after this and it seems that this not an uncommon scam especially in Thailand. Fortunately I used my secondary WeChat account so I can block, delete and the delete the WeChat account. Have any of you long time mongers seen this particular scam.

I visited a supposed Sauna which ended up being a scam setup. (99% certainty). Through a wechat account I was told of a Hui Suo facility in Pudong and passed on visiting initially. I was given pricing for time / full service but my gut felt off and something didn't feel right. After a few days I said changed my tune and decided to give it a try. I still had a cautious attitude only bringing cash with me and deleting my bank apps from my phone.

Anyways upon arriving a doorman open the door before I could reach it and was seated in a waiting room where the manager came by to ask if I had an appt, with whom, and if I knew the pricing. I wanted the bottom tier pricing of 1688 and was escorted to a room where they gave me a bathroom and tiny underwear to change into. The room was high quality and had its own bathroom / shower but I immediately thought it was weird there wasn't a central locker and showering area. And I hadn't seen another customer in the lobby or hallways. After changing a girl came to the room, said her name and asked if she was OK. She was attractive but I said no out of habit to see the next one. This is when my alarm bells started to go off more, the wechat account said they had at least 20 girls on a given night so I was wondering why there wasn't a manager showing a lineup or fishbowl. I accepted the second girl and she escorted me to another room down the hallway to shower and she said she'the wait outside the door in the hallway. During the shower I told myself just run with it and see what happens. After the shower we went back to the first room where she started giving me a massage.

I started asking her questions about the business, how long they've been open etc and how many girls they had working. She said tonight there was 50-60 and the alarms started going off harder. Her answer was different from the wechat account and why would there be so many girls but not any other customers? Soon after she starts talking about how this is a chain from Beijing and asking me questions about what I did, where I'm from, how much money I spend per day when traveling. Wtf?

Then it got juicy.

The massage started getting sensual with light tickling around my thighs and groin area. Soon she said there were different customer tiers and to get different higher class services I had to buy a membership that started at 60000,60 K rmb. Services for members were different style themed rooms, prettier girls, international girls, cosplay options etc. And that this was going to only be a veggie massage and only members get sex. I immediately asked to speak with the manager. The manager started explaining their process which I really wasn't paying attention to and when I rejected buying a membership she began to offer cheaper ones, 13 K and 17 K options. When I told her I don't want it and didn't have the money she asked how much I had. At this point she said I could pay what I had first as a deposit and even suggested I could go back to Puxi to get the money / bank cards and come back. (1 hour round trip). I started getting really irritated and knew arguing further wasn't going anywhere. I said just finish up this session first and I'll be back in a few days for the membership. Felt slightly ashamed afterwards but mostly annoyed I didn't trust my instincts and left it alone to begin with.

After getting back I went into the Beijing forum and Lo and behold saw a recent post detailing the same scam. The bros experience was basically identical to mine.

This facility was out near Yangpu bridge in Pudong. So stay away guys!
