Kind of a sprawling, charmless city. Far from a decent beach. Not much to do after fucking. Not a very walkable city. Sta. Marta maybe has fewer / more expensive girls, but has some awesome beaches / mountains / parks nearby.

Most of the Spas in BQ are in perfectly ordinary residential houses and you would never know until you ring the bell.

There are many independents who advertise on co. mileroticos.com, but they are hit and miss. Some have very hot pictures but ask for a high price and display a mechanical attitude on whatsapp. Pass. Others have a hardened attitude when in the room, I guess they couldn't stay in a spa. But some are diamonds, like one cool little flaca Venezolana, google her with 3015244449,50 k 30 mins.

Prices seem to have evened out, and almost everywhere is now 50 K for 30 min and around 80 k for 60 mins. The cheap nasty dirty places have closed and the nice places have come down in price. I was in Baraquilla for 3 days before I realized this really is not the place for me. I don't know if I was in the wrong spot but something about this city did not seem that special. It was just very commercial and lacked any sort of personaltiy.

BAQ is not a special place for a visitor. Its hot, very hot, austere (think Cleveland before the urban facelift there), and few if any places to go alone. However, the people are outstanding friendly and helpful, I really love them! I've made some life long friends there. I have virtually none in the cold US culture. Lots of civilian girls to date if you have any sort of network to meet them. There is a girl there I've wanted to get serious with for almost 9 years! If you go to the clubs with Colombians, its a GREAT time. Girls from the municipality of Soledad, near the airport are usually eager to date, but its hard to penetrate the local culture. The private beach at Puerto Colombia, 1/2 hour from Barranquilla can be fun. Good food and drink served there. Usually a lot of eye candy, but you better bring your own girl if you want company. I've been there numerous times, great memories! I hope to return soon.
