Times have changed and in the good old days it was better, period. But nevertheless it's still worth going there. If you adapt to the changes you can still have a reasonably good time. And that's one of the reasons that people are still going there. Another reason is that a lot of people are new or relatively new to the scene and therefore cannot compare it to the old times.

I am amazed at the number of negative posts in this forum. Angeles is better than ever. The tourists have returned, the go go bars are busy and High Society is packed every night. New hotels are being built and there are several apartment buildings going up. The city has a buzz to it. There is no better place to have fun.
