But that does not stop most mongers having a good time for modest overall expenditure compared with some other places.

All the reports I've seen here and from TMB to Sosua have pretty much been detailing how chicas have stolen shit from unassuming bros and how even Uber drivers scam bros. Are these just unfortunate newbie experiences ...?

No, it can happen to the most experienced if they drop their guard. But more likely to affect newbies (especially if they behave like newbies).

Some tips (yes, I know they have been posted a million times but a recap won't hurt for first-time visitors). Other posters could add to them:

1) If you are an alcoholic, all bets are off. Not only do you lose control but you make yourself an obvious target. You can drink in your own country for similar prices. You cannot fuck young, attractive girls in your own country for similar prices. Remember your prime objective!

2) Lock all your shit away before you go out. Only take with you what you need for meals and drinks. You will pay the chica AFTER the deed once she is out of your room.

3) Dress down similar to the locals. Do not wear bling. Keep bigger bills separate from small bills so you do not have to go to that pocket just to pay for drinks or motos. Do not take bank cards out when hunting. Draw your cash first on a separate outing.

4) Do not accept help from local men who want to be your "fren" or guide or offer to find you chicas. Avoid street folk who can speak English. The traditional wisdom is that they learned it in US prisons. While I think that fear is a bit exaggerated, it probably does mean they live off tourists and will know all the dirty tricks. Many years since I mongered in Sosua, but when I did I avoided working girls who spoke decent English like the plague.

5) If you know your dates, try and hook up with some experienced member(s) here to show you the ropes, at least for your first day or two. Never tell locals your leaving dates. If they wish to involve you in a controversy, they will always try it on your last day so you will pay big money to avoid hassle and catch your plane. In fact, give out as few personal details as possible.

6) Never offend a local. They bear grudges and have rolodex memories. They also have large extended families.

Hey,

I've been to sosua in 2017 and I loved it. It's rather small, it has a beautiful beach and vibrant night life, all within walking distance. Prices for chicas were around 2500 DOP ( 40€) for short time ( 1-2 hours) and 5000 DOP for long time (overnight).

Even during the week, you could always find some action, at the beach, in the street, near the restaurants and especially at night in the clubs.

Although there were many hard core putas there were some lovely girls as well with whom I really clicked to have a couple of days together and get an authentic girl friend experience.

I especially loved the weather and the beach with all the shops, restaurants and ability to take a daily swim.

Now my question to you guys:

Is there any place similar to sosua in the (south american) world?

* great weather.

* beach to swim.

* everything in walking distance.

* vibrant night life.

* lots of chicas, even during the week.

I have been looking at Colombia (santa marta), Cuba (guanabo), Belize (san pedro) and maybe Ecuador (atacames) but I would love your input on what city in the world comes even close to sosua for a beach vacation with latinas!

So from my gathering, it seems like Tijuana might not be the best place for me if I like the bigger, darker women. I think I am going to save up more so I can explore the land of the dark and thick honeys. With that being said, is the DR really as shady and full of scammers as it seems? Greens fee was about 100. Caddy fee 20. Caddy tip, 20 per person. I don't know what rental clubs cost, I brought my own. But I saw them in the pro shop and they looked pretty beat up and old.

It sounds like Sosua is the better destination because there's more to do rather than just mongering, but in terms of just mongering, are Tijuana and Sosua about equal? Do street girls in Sosua perform better than Tijuana street girls? Are there thick women in Tijuana? I love black women and I know Sosua is teeming with black women, but I have heard that there are no black working girls in Tijuana.

I have been to both. Tijuana is great when I am spending time in San Diego. I haven't been around the town in Tijuana, only back and forth to the zone. I haven't seen any black women there. Most of the attractive girls are thin. The larger ones usually aren't large in a good sort of way. Sosua is a good place to hang. A nice beach, a good variety of food, and you can walk around to all the bars, clubs, restaurants, girls, etc. The street girls in Tijuana are usually that great with service, but is cheap. While if you are in Sosua long enough, you will encounter some BS, overall the service is usually much better. If you like thick and / or black, Sosua is the place to go. But depending on where you live, it may be more expensive to get there.

I'the say they are equal on the mongering level. It helps to speak Spanish here in Sosua more English is spoken in Tijuana. And your right now black women in Tijuana only tons of fine Mexicans and some other latins like Colombians, Venezuelans etc. If you want options on color size come to Sosua. It was tooo lit last night had to be 100 women out here it's close to Christmas everyone hustling. I was in Tijuana weekend after thanksgiving I'm in Sosua now and I'the say they both equally fun. Big difference right now Tijuana is cold Sosua hot as hell if you like to swim, go to beach, etc.

I travel to Sosua and Tijuana. I get out to Tijuana more often because it is more cost effective and of course it's closer. Sosua is a good treat when you have the time and money.

Depends on your purpose. You just want to go somewhere that you can stick your dick into holes or do you want to have a vacation? To me Tijuana is nowhere to plan a trip to; it is just somewhere you go for a few hours if you happen to be in San Diego.

I'm with Mr Ent. I was in Tijuana last week I think that's the best place for a first time monger it's all right there for you. Sosua is a vacation with plenty pussy around. I couldn't not stay in Tijuana for more than 2 nights and frankly that's all you need. Here I'm the DR is a relaxing vacation with beautiful women all around. Lots of things to do. For example this trip.

I plan on seeing the teleférico in puerta Plata there is nothing like that in Tijuana. Sure you can go to Ensenada or rosorito but it's not the same. If you want to just bang a few latinas quick go to Tijuana, if you looking to chill out, swim, eat good, wiggle your toes in sand and hump some fine latinas come to Sosua.

There seems to be plenty of meat on the street. Can't really get around much without being accosted continuously for a massage. I've been here a few times over the past few years and I don't see the deterioration that has been reported in previous posts. Had a nice girl taxi driver last night for 2 K. I don't respond much to the overly aggressive types but that girl was just nice in her approach. Might have bartered down to 1. 5 but wasn't worth the effort and I thought she deserved it anyway.

Sosúa is still great IMHO. Maybe it is just good timing as has been suggested before but suits me.
