Hi guys,
How do you get the second reference on the tourist visa application? The first one can be the hotel, but how to get the second one? I'm not getting response from my local consul.

Sir,
Thank you for reporting my name among your sources of inspiration for your Ghana reentry.
As always, after a long absence, you will find disappointments and appreciations. Count that Ghana has changed in 25 years, you have changed and the world has changed.
One of the most significative aspect that will affect your new visit to Ghana will certainly be the advent of the digital era. I have experienced some good adventures using applications as WeChat that is very used in Ghana, despite of being the direct contact very predominant there.
Also the possibility to be always reachable and always be able to reach others, changes completely the way of leading relations in the country.
The aid that Google Maps offers when you are on the road is incomparable with any kind of paper map, specially in the night or in a new place.
I think the best way to experience Ghana after 25 years is to afford it as a completely new experience and as I always recommend, don't spend too long time in Accra because as city it is too big, crowded, chaotic and bad organized.
I even had been in Tamale and Bolgatanga and I found an excellent situation there.
I hope to read new reports about your staying there and count on me for any info and direction.
Keep us posted.

Next month I go back to Ghana, my first time was twenty five years ago.
I want to see the difference and hope to have again a good time.
I think I go to follow the footsteps of our friend RomanGuy, his reviews are interesting with very usefull details.
I like his traveling style; So I expect to visit Chico's Pub, La Paz area and maybe also Somanya. On Google Street View there aren't.
Interesting points to see. I hope to find them. I report whem I am back.

Before I was SloWalk, I posted as HarryDHo until I changed my email. Details and photos might be under my old name.
In 2003, I was at the STC bus station in Accra trying to ditch someone from the night before. Then, I saw the hottest woman I've yet to see waiting for her bus. I gathered my courage to ask her where she was going and to get her number. Francisca was going to Takoradi; I tried to get a ticket but the bus was full. I stayed with her and we talked until the bus departed. As I walked off, she became the center of attention. Every woman on that bus descended upon her and asked to know the details of our short conversation. I decided to take the next bus to Takoradi. Once there, I found a room at Raybow. None answered Francesca's phone that night but I was able to reach her the next day around 10 am. She told me to meet her at 1 the next day in Takoradi. I nearly gave up waiting for her because she didn't show until 4:30 ish. We hung out in Takoradi and whenever we walked into somewhere out of site, she was all over me. She wouldn't come back to my room that night but, she said she wanted to come by my room at 1 the next day. At 4, Francesca came to my room but brought two young sisters. Like the day before in Takoradi, when we were out of site of her sisters, she was on me. I stripped her naked. What a body. She was the aggressor; she wanted it. I told Francesca I was leaving for Accra the next day and invited her to come. She said she would meet me at 10 am at the hotel. The next day, I left the room at noon and went to the STC disappointed. She never knew what time meant. After I was in Accra, I got an email that night that she was mad at me. She had brought her mother to the hotel to meet me. Even though she was physical perfection, that was all there was. When she spoke, she was VERY loud. Worse, twice I gave her money and she started shaking and ran off immediately to spend it.

Posts: 812I spent a year and a half in Takoradi. That is one African country I could move to and never look back. Was sitting in a bar one afternoon at my hotel. When I was the only person there wound up taking the bartender to my room and banging her for free while the bar was still open. A lot of fun to be had there.
