Stayed at the Point Boutique Hotel on 130St. the fridge did not work (most negative thing about the hotel).

I arrived Wed and am Staying at the Point Boutique. I stayed in one of the large room, (201 maybe,) in Oct. And had not issues. I'm in rear unit 203 this time. The mini fridge is kaput. Might be a moot point even if it was working: The power cuts off when you leave the room and take the key card with you. Still great: strong AC, real comfortable bed and I just love the rainfall shower. Strong water pressure too.

But enough about that, I didn't come here for the mini fridge. LOL Inside the Corner 136 bar is loud as ever. However, there were less ladies present than my Oct trip. Whole new line-up too. Yes, it's an expansion of the Phnom Penh Hiltton, which is a grimey little bar but always fun. I can confirm that they'll go short time for 25 or 30 if you know how to play the game. If not, just pay 40 and be happy about I guess. As you say a lot of mileage possible right in the bar with some of them. Can even see guys getting a lot more than touching in there. Just watch out for the ladyboy.

GSM is dead. They were first renting those out for 1500 or something. Now they're down to 450 listed. Which means you could negotiate for even less, because nobody pays sticker price in Cambodia except foreigners who don't know any better. Place is over half empty. Doubt it will come back. Those days seem to be coming to a close. Make way for big spenders from China.

Massage shop. The normal massage shops you can find everywhere, charges 10 000 riel up to $5 for a massage. The ones I've had were $2.5 & $3. The times I went I was so drunk I can barely remember these, but 1st time I got a handjob for $10 and the other time I had sex with the lady for $25, could probably have bargained down the last one as it was kind of lame. Well you guys must be very unlucky! I have stayed here three times, always with a high floor room, at the back of the hotel.

I think its a great place to stay! And never spotted ants or any bugs! But I never leave out anything that may attract them.
