Those rates are for 30 minutes, not 15. Pretty standard now its $100 USD to take a girl up from HK, of course some of the uglier more desperate ones will settle for $70-80, or even 1200-1400 pesos. But even at those prices, you won't bag a hot girl. You are better off just going the cheap route and getting a SG.

One of these bars could make a lot of money by doing what strip bars in Florida do. Lap dances for ten dollars. Offhand suggestion, you might try taking a photo of the cooler when you first get your room and take another photo when you leave, which will show what drinks you consumed from the cooler. The cell phone photos are timestamped, so that should be enough proof for the clerk, when you show them to him. I suspect another reason the hotel installed the coolers is to have a way to recoup costs from guys who trash their rooms with enough money to pay for the repairs from their deposit.

I always leave a tip every time I stay at a hotel, of course the one time I forgot was my first time in Tijuana and I got screwed with. Maybe the guy checking my room was in a bad mood and decided he needed a drink on me since I didn't leave him any money.

Another idea about the cooler is after you're done with a session some ladies will grab a drink from the cooler before heading downstairs, adding more $$ to your hotel bill. I don't mind providing a drink after a hot session, but not at the huge mark ups the hotel charges for the drinks in the cooler.

I stock my up my room with bottle water, beer and soda from the convenience stores in the area, for $5 you can your mini bar for the cost of a Red Bull in that cooler.
