I am sure they have ATMS withouts fees around I just don't bother to find them and use cash machines near the place I was staying.

I do have a question on exchanging money, I prefer to take a bank card and withdraw from ATMs as my card has no foreign fee transactions and saves me taking a grand or so in cash which is a risk. This is what I do when I go to Morocco and works fine as there is plenty of 24 HR ATMs with no fees around.
Does anyone else do this in Cuba? Is there many ATMs around and do they have fees?

A lot of casa owners are providing you with sim and mobile phone these days which is nice. Unfortunately I forgot to make sure this was the case withe the casa I am stayign at for the first week in Cuba.
I think I will give the guy like 30 cucu on top of whatever he spent to get the phone. I think that seems more than fair.
I'd like to keep the card and use it for future trips. I make it to Cuba about 2 times a year. Need to figure out how to keep the Sim active while I am away.

I also have been to those other spots and agree that Cuba is the best if you don't mind putting in the work. The others are point and click. Cuba is the safest and unlike the other spots tourists are untouchable. IMO Cuban girls are better in bed and appreciate good sex more. Cuba is not ruined by foreigners yet. And it's the closest to America with cheap flights.
The Dominican republic is my first travel love with unlimited fun and beautiful women but you feel like prey. Asia is good but you are a 24 hour flight away. Columbia comes in second on my list just edging the Dominican republic because the girls have a sweet nature for now. Medellin is slowly being ruined.
You have to challenge yourself in Cuba to get its rewards. If you are shy or timid Cuba will not notice you. Tap into the local scene by making friends and pussy will overwhelm you. Just be ready because the girls will give you their all sexually.
I like your contrasts of various countries / regions. Your missing one global favorite. Brasil. Brasil is unique because unlike much of Latin America and the Caribbean the scene today is geared primarily towards locals not tourists. I have been to Cuba and I give the edge to the sexuality and passion of Brasilian women.

The SIM card is 40 CUC, and includes 10 CUC of calls (not internet). You can buy at any ETECSA agency, and you'll need your passport (not copy).
For those who are fortunate enough and really need internet 3 G (thus available everywhere), it's 10 CUC / day!
To reload for calling and SMS, buy little tickets and precise "mobile calls" or "tarjeta prepagada GSM". Buy approximately one 5 CUC card / week, it should be enough to call your chicas, call the restaurants tp book, taximen, etc. If you still have some untouched cards at the end at your stay, it could make a nice gift.
The SIM card stays active one year after activation, or last CALL reload. Internet use does NOTchange the overdue date.
Thanks. Great info! Appreciate it very much!

Thanks guys. The message I'm getting is that you go to Cuba for the challenge mainly. The girls appear to be more GFE.

Hey guys,
Just spent 3 nights in Havana. P4P action was disappointing, but it might have been my own fault, as I don't like going to clubs and staying up late. I walked around hot spots in the early evening (5-10 pm) looking for action, but spent my mornings / days on the beach relaxing. The strategy worked amazingly the last several trips, but fast-forward 9 months later and it is a huge failure.
First night I walked 15 miles around 23rd & old / central Havana. Una mirada from 10 girls, but nothing worth taking (all 3-5 out of 10). Around 9 pm I was getting frustrated and decided to grab the next 5 I found. Took her back to casa and was extremely disappointed after I saw her in the light. I picked her up on Galiano near diablito (1 block from malecon). $50 and she was trying hard at GFE / wanted to stay 24 HR for no extra cost, but honestly I just wanted to cum as quick as possible and pay her to leave..
Sorry for hearing of this. But it happened some some. Keep positive buddy. You can try next time around Havana university.

I got same deal as Uncle V. 30 CUC with 5 CUC credit. You can buy re-load card to refill the credit. It was very convenient. The reload card could be bought in some grocery store. You don't need to wait for long line.
Hope it is helpful information for folks here. LOL.
