So we recently finished our little Shanghai jaunt (see that thread for early week Adventures of Steve) and are ready for Taipei. Let me tell you Taipei is a tough nut to crack. Many thanks to a new forum buddy for a Line broker hookup. We would have been lost without this.

We were after KTV but with some extras. So we started corresponding with our Line contact about 3 weeks ago. He was very helpful in explaining the options. The waiter dude set up a plate of fruit and a six pack of beer. The beers are a very reasonably priced NTD140 per can which is great because we go through a couple or three six packs. You have little glasses— a bit bigger than a shot — and you drink it on ice. Your glass is NEVER empty regardless of how fast you empty it!
