OK, so I've been waiting for a minute now to write up some of these experiences. Sorry in advance, but this one long-ass thread is going to contain all of my memories from all 50+ nights I spent at HK / Cascadas, or elsewhere in Tijuana in 2018.

I was in a situation in 2018 where I was stuck in litigation with my attorneys based in southern California (I used to live in Norcal). I had recently broken up with my girlfriend as well and I was hating the world, and thank God I had recently come into a little chunk of cash.

All this combined created the perfect storm for me to spend a totally inordinate amount of time in Tijuana during 2018.

For context I'm 30, white, dark hair / beard (italian-american) so could maybe pass at first glance for a mexican, ok looking but generally would be considered a bit overweight and nerdy (in the USA LOL), big pot head, speak alright spanish (from school) and just wanted to bang a bunch of sexy women after losing my ex (she was a hot little yoga chick). I've never had much fun nor success with one-night stands in the US.

It was around May 2018 when I began this odyssey. I had been to Tijuana / HK a few times before, but not since a few years ago. And in the past, only for a couple nights. Nothing like the chicas bender that I indulged in this past year.

My normal routine when I started out was to book a room at the Rodeway Inn which is just a few doors down from the San Ysidro Jack in the Box. I like the Rodeway Inn because it is cheap, no-frills, and the easiest hotel to walk across the border and back (no uber needed). Usually, you can find rooms on priceline same-day for around $70 or even less. Initially I liked to stay at Rodeway Inn even when I would also book a room at Cascadas, because I did not want to actually spend the night sleeping at Cascadas based on my memories of the place from years back. So, I would goto the Rodeway to shower, change, have a few beers for the liquid courage, and smoke weed in my rental car in the parking lot (more on that later) before walking across the border to Tijuana. Then I would come back at 6 am. Or 8 am. Or 10 am. And pass out after partying until the maids would wake me up.

Never had a single problem crossing into Mexico. Out of the few dozen times I crossed the border into MX this year (all at PedEast), I only waited in line for Mexican Immigration to look at my passport probably 3 or 4 times total, and only received an actual visa and / or passport stamp twice. I would often cross into MX between midnight and 4 am, which is probably why it was so rare for me to see any federales. No one's ever asked me about broncas, either.

Immediately after crossing through the passport area and walking past the mexican military guys, while at the top of the ramp, I usually order a Mexican Uber while my phone is still on US phone service. Then I look at the driver's info before I walk down the ramp, then by the time I get to the bottom of the ramp he is there, and no worries about my phone taking a few minutes to switch onto mexican service. Only about 50 ps for an uber to HK. I find this to be easier and usually equally cheap to using the HK "free ride" limo service (they expect a tip of 50 ps or more anyway). I like to ask the uber driver to drop me off at the back door of hk / cascadas in the coahuila alleyway ("por el callejon") so I can check out the wild life on the way into the club. I also feel like I often get better service at the back-side hotel desk, maybe the clerks seem a bit more bored and thus friendly on that side or something LOL.

As everyone says, HK VIP is worth it, if for no other reason than the Mon / Tues night heavily discounted rooms at Cascadas. It became my regular routine to go down to HK / Cascadas Mon-Wed each week since I was not working full-time. The Cascadas rooms only came out to $12 per night or something ridiculous like that, which is why I did not feel bad double-booking at the Rodeway.

With HK VIP you also get free cover (always), a free drink coupon and a 1/2 off lap dance coupon (every 12 hours). I recommend heading to the VIP desk at the entrance to HK to procure your VIP coupons BEFORE going up to your room at Cascadas and getting situated, having drinks, showering etc. This way, you shave some extra time off your 12-hour clock for new coupons.

I enjoyed how quiet the HK club was on Mon / Tue / Wed (esp during the day) compared to Fri / Sat nights when it is a crazy shit show full of drunk Mexicans and american bachelor parties, tourists etc. I much preferred the relative quiet and lack of demand of the weekdays. There are often more girls than guys in the club at times in the morning and afternoon hours, which is incredible as the girls will sit with you for longer for $1 or just a drink, and arriba prices can be cheaper. Also, there seems to be a lot of new girls getting their feet wet in the profession on weekdays / mornings / afternoons. Most of the guys in there during weekdays seem to be retired or older tourists, so you can get a lot of attention for gratis if you seem like a chill young guy. I preferred the girls who liked to work at HK during the AM shift (8 am-2 pm or so) and / or the girls who were students or just in town a few weeks to make some extra cash, instead of the girls who get super coked up and work on Fri / Sat nights and bang 15 dudes a night.

Now, everyone has their own style of how they like to make their entrance to HK. A lot of bros (both Mexican and American) seem to like to roll up with a group, get a waiter, get a table, drink with girls for hours, etc. Not my style.

I like to walk right past the waiters' begging line when I come in, then make a lap to get a good look at all the girls, see if any of my ATFs are working, etc. I will walk from the front of the club to the back, then if upstairs is open, go upstairs and walk from the back to the front. The reason I like to make a full lap first thing when I get there is I like to scope out and make eye contact with any familiar amigas or hot new ladies I might be interested in getting to know later on. I find it valuable to just walk around and see if any of the ladies happen to like the look of you — they might come right up to you later and sit on your lap.

After surveying the scene, my preferred seat to consume my free beverage is at the far end of the main stage, under the "stairway" that goes up from the stage toward the middle part of the club. Having completed "the lap", after I sit in my seat, I usually let things come to me for a little while. I take this seat, wait for a mesero to come and grab my drink order, and give him my coupon. The reason I like this seat is its very central to the action. You have a great view of the girls who are feature dancing because, even though you are at the far end of the stage from the main pole, you get to see them dance on the pole while other bros tip them, and after they finish on the pole, most of the chicas come over to the other end of the stage, right in front of where I sit, and use the railing of the stairs to grab onto while they shake their asses at that end of the stage. This puts you only just a foot or two away from the dancers while they are showing off their assets. A perfect moment to give a few singles and feel up every girl you like who feature dances (who tend to be the hottest at HK imo).

From here, you can also keep an eye on the girls dancing on the bars or the small stages at the front of the club in case any of them catch your eye, these tend to be the older or more experienced dancers IMO. In this seat, lots of the more shy or younger girls will also be standing right behind you, on "the ramp" in the middle of the club. This puts you in position to check out those girls as well, and you can always turn your back in either direction, stage or chicas. To me it feels like I stay more in control of my own adventure sitting here than I do when I goto another table in the club to sit at. I also like this seat because if you get a girl to sit in your lap, I find the low round stool chairs to be a lot better for getting a lap dance than being at a table full of drinks. Sometimes you can get basically a free lap dance this way for only $1-$2, if things are slow at the club. (Sometimes I like to smoke a vape at this spot in the club, but they have been cracking down on this more recently even though the chicas seem to enjoy it).

There are a few schools of thought as to how to find the best chicas to take arriba. Of course, as a newbie to the club, the temptation is to find the absolute hottest girls that you can, and immediately ask to take her arriba for whatever price she quotes. But any old-timer will tell you, the best sessions are more based on chemistry than sheer hotness, and sometimes the hot girls are dead fish.

I like to have at least one drink with a girl as I decide whether we should go arriba. I did a handful of threesomes at HK. A couple were awesome, but got to say most seemed to not be worth it in retrospect, from a simple dollars perspective. This is because you can have sex with any chica of your choice for $80/ hh (or effectively $80/45 min if you have your own room), but most girls ask to be paid $150/ hour EACH for a threesome, leaving you out $300 for the experience. The problem with this is, the girls at HK typically don't swap back and forth on your cock like girls in porn, because they're scared of STDs from the other putas, and most of them don't give BBBJs or even CBJs with both girls at the same time, and a lot of them aren't that into kissing, so most times, you basically wind up getting 30 minutes screwing one chica while the other mostly watches, and then you swap condoms to have 30 minutes with the other chica, for double the price of two separate 30 min sessions, and ultimately less time with each of the girls individually. Additionally, it is a buzzkill when you're trying to fuck and the 2 chicas are having a conversation with each other in spanish that you as a gringo cannot understand. I recommend if you are looking for a threesome to find girls who seem affectionate with each other and with you at the same time while in the club. Them making you feel left out of their convos in the club is a red flag that they will do the same in the room. Make sure if there is anything specific you want that you mention it in advance. Tell them that having sex with each one of them at a time is not a threesome. Highly recommend a threesome with Ingrid & Nicole together specifically. This could be because I am relatively young, go during slow times, smoke weed or vapes liberally with the girls that I bring to my room, or because I'm relatively nice to the girls, or because I try for the most part to give them good sex, or some combo of the above, but almost every single girl I've met at HK has been super nice to me, been willing to give me extra time beyond what was initially negotiated, and been willing to give me her personal WhatsApp number and / or instagram or snap account. Most of them seem to be down to meet me off the clock for more fun at cheaper rates in another location.

My high or low point, depending on your perspective, was prob sometime last summer when I banged 10 different girls, plus several repeats, in well under 24 hours, including some of those listed above. I did not sample any of the street meat this year, but perhaps next time I go. I did see a couple of hotties on the street at times, but it just seemed like such an unnatural interaction to go up to them and negotiate quickly on the street as compared to over a drink in HK. I feel like this is why a lot of the bros complain about mechanical performances from street chicas. I stopped wasting money double-booking at the Rodeway Inn when I realized you can get either a double room at Cascadas, or just extra sheets and extra towels, for a few extra bucks. That trick, combined with the remodel over the past couple years, and seemingly much better and more consistent, less douchey cleaning crews now versus years past, means that it is now possible to sleep at Cascadas and still be able to look yourself in the mirror the next morning (just bring earplugs). I like booking a double room because then you get one bed for sex and one for sleep (and sex the next day haha).

I also stopped booking at the Rodeway because I got searched and interrogated once by USA CBP while sitting in my car in their parking lot smoking a joint. Something that is perfectly legal in California. Thank Christ, after searching my car, they told me I was not the guy they were looking for and just let me go. But they had me worried there for a few minutes. Bros, be careful in engaging in anything shady near the border on the US side, as it seems like the Rodeway Inn folks (and the CBP folks for that matter) may be a bit trigger-happy these days.

After I stopped using the Rodeway as my San Ysidro home base, I started parking in the lot behind Jack in the Box. But ultimately I began to park for free on Sipes Rd, near the baseball diamonds, behind the mall. I never had a problem parking my car here even for several days, and its a cheap $3. 50 uber to PedEast (which I still prefer to PedWest for various reasons).

I was once smoking a churro in my car at 3:30 AM on Sipes and saw a dude trying to break into vehicles using a crow bar directly across the street from me. He didn't see me as I had the lights off in the car. He failed miserably, couldn't even break in, just scratched the shit out of the car.

So, my advice is park on Sipes for free if you have good car insurance, and / or a rental car, and / or a car that you do not care much about, and / or don't have to leave any valuables in your car. If any of these things are true, bite the bullet and park in the JITB lot.

-Extra sheets and extra towels (and remote control for the TV) are a must at Cascadas. Just ask the guys in the hallways or call the front desk.

-UberEats has many great and cheap options in Tijuana and they will deliver to Cascadas or wherever you like.

-Gran Hotel Tijuana is very nice and is like a 5* resort for only $70 a night or so if you need to impress a chica. They also have good buffet and restaurants.

-multiple chicas told me that most girls in Tijuana do not care if you're a fat guy. FWIW (I'm 5'11 240).

-DO NOT EVER attempt to bring any cannabis products or anything else illegal back from Mexico into the USA — the USA border patrol can (and will) search anything you bring across the border, including your phone.

-IF Cascadas tells you they are sold out on a given night, sometimes you can get a room by showing up to the front desk repeatedly between 3 pm and 8 pm to see if there are any cancellations.

-If you've never been to the back / alley door of HK / Cascadas, check it out. There is another hotel desk, the restaurant (Azul) as well as a little store with sodas and toiletries, lube etc. Very useful. This can be reached using the rear elevator in the hotel and going to floor 3.

I had to join just to point out that 100 is not the freaking standard. HK girls will gladly take $80. I've had some for as low as $50.60 or 70 is not out of the question either, even for the hotter ones. Anyone paying $100 is doing the rest of us a disservice because guess what? If most of you keep giving these girls $100 with no bargaining at all, just gladly handing the money over, pretty soon they're going to want $120. Then $140. Then $150.
