If you go back 10 years then Mombasa was a blast. Cheers was always busy and buzzing, Casarinhas after midnight was always full with women, Tembo on a weekend was awesome, big tree was always full of hunters, The cafeserie coffee shop before it become cafeserie was books1st and then fishermans cove, it was a lot cheaper than now and always had women on the hunt. The beach always had women hunting but now they don't bother as there are no tourists.

The terror attacks came, security git worse, so less charter flights was a result of that, the Kenyan mentality was put prices up for poor accommodation as business went down.

Hence Mombasa is now a pale shadow of its former self.

Now, if you know how Kenya works and understand the people you can still fill your boots but if your expecting a Pattaya style place then forget it.

It really started 2007 election violence. Then ASC a big tour operator went bust which brought a lot if first timers to Kenya. Then Tembo closed down. The final nail in the coffin were the Westgate and Mpeketoni terror attacks in 2013. Spot on analysis. But. There is still loads of pussy out there. For me top spots are now Dar es Salaam, Kampala and Kigali.

If you know what you are doing you have decent accommodation for 1200 ksh a night. And that is a small apartment in Mtwapa. Of course if you want to stay on the beach, accommodation is generally overpriced. I only shag sweet semi and nonpros and I stay away in general from the slay queens. Adjust your game. Its not Thailand. I recently wrote all there is to know extensively about Mombasa. Last time I had a hot 23 yo student for 3 weeks. I shagged her up to 3 times a night. Thank you Neddy and Mombie, this is how I was / am going to do it on this trip. Since it's a reckon trip and I can't get away for longer it's a 10 nights visit to the African continent.

Arrive in Nairobi on a Friday evening. Head to Emerald for a 2 nights stay with their transfer service (30 dollar one way). Now A, I bring one of the two short time girls I'm in touch with (they can stay 2-3) days with me or be, I just try my luck in the vicinity as the hotel is close to many clubs in fact it has its own club as well.

Third night A, I meet up with one of two sweethearts I'm in touch with for the rest of my stay (7 days), one live in Nairobi the other in Eldoret. Eldoret girl wants a laptop or an Iphone (cost of that approx 400 euros) the Nairobi girl just wants a serious relationship. After third night I or we head to Mombasa. Or be, I just go on my own and try my luck with whatever female Mombasa has to offer.

Security measures, Colera vaccine and yellow fever, chain plus padlock as reinforcement to my suitcase. Not using the hotel safe when I'm not in the room. Room kept chica proof at all times. Uber door to door at night and evenings. In Mombasa I thought of staying at Cowrie Shells apartments, has good reviews. But at night its uber to the front door as it seems gangs are in the parameters at night (well just outside). Budget for this operation is 4,000 euros give or take. Round trip ticket plus accommodation is about 1,000 euros. Alltho it doesn't mean I will spend it all.

I read in a previous post that some of the guys renting boats offer the wazungus to get girls for them from the villages. I'm in touch with several girls ranging 23-26 and well they all want to meet in April and the vast majority are from villages (Eldoret or something like that), a couple living in Nairobi thou but originally from villages. A lot of things contribute into making a place a 'mongers paradise. ' And. Places change, often quickly. And stop becoming a paradise.

Sometimes it's just the availability of quality girls (sheer numbers + attitude + bareback + price) - something that made a place like Angeles City good (prior to 2009). You suffered through that shithole of a town to get to the good poon.

Or it's a combination: variety of girls + numbers + nude + GFE + other cool things to do in the town. Sort of like Bangkok or Pattaya (before 2005).

Dolly (another shithole town) for the novelty and sheer number of poon + extremely cheap prices. Before 2012.

Jakarta before 2012 - quality of girls + numbers working + cheap price + can-do attitude.

Argentina or Brazil, Medellin or Cali back in the day for the number of apartment brothels + variety of girls + decent prices + cool things to do in these cities made it all around a good place to visit and monger.

Geyling had it's day when it was fun to roam the rows and go for a cheap shag and still enjoy what's on offer in a nice (if boring) city.

Cambodia before 2007 - more shit-hole towns but with some faded colonial atmosphere and good food / accommodation all for a cheap price etc.

Sihanoukville was good before they clamped down.

Havana. Before 2010/2012 - good girls, great food, excellent atmosphere.

Small towns in China (Chang Ann / Ping) before 2011 - amazing number of poon, cheap prices, etc brought you to places you ordinarily would never visit.

The problem with places like Mombassa (today) and Nairobi (today) is that it's just a shithole. With little redeeming value. The quality of the girls is low, the quantity is low, it's not particularly easy to get to, and not an enjoyable city when not mongering, that dangers are an omnipresent part of your vacation, risk of diseases is higher than the other spots, attitudes are generally lower, potential for scam higher, and it's a lot more hit or miss. There's no real 'red light district' - there are some 'bars on a beach' which change fairly regularly, some clubs and streets in Mtwapa and the girls will make a circuit. Sure you might be able to chat the girls in advance and arrange meetups from small towns. But that's hardly paradise. Overall it's just a dirty, mean little (spread out) port town, full of constant hassles and not full of hot poon that you can fuck with ease.

What brought me to Africa was hearing tales about ALL the hot girls everywhere, just walking and waiting on the beach. I thought you could just walk to beach, be approached and take back to room throughout the day repeatedly. Or all the clubs full of hot-in-the-bed stunners you could take back for short times, the great massage parlours in Addis, the easy knocking shops in Nairobi. -hhahahahahahhahaha. The truth is SO FAR from what I've read on the board that it's a joke really.

You often hear that African mongers are 'hard-core' - but isn't a hard-core monger the one that has traveled the world's RLD and knows where the best value + quality + quantity + quality of life is? Does hardcore really mean willing to risk one's life to screw used up hookers in shit port towns? Dunno.

To me it's not a mongers paradise, more a mongers hell. Maybe it used to be, or maybe other countries are better. I've only been to 7 African countries so far. Just a taste. I'm sure republic of Congo is where it's at.

It looks like a set from Mad Max but where the production unit couldn't afford a decent set so they just took the contents of a garbage land-fill and spread it about.

It's incredibly hot, windy, and everyone is about the scam.

The girls on the beach are dire. They haven't just 'been around' the block, they were alive when the block was created by god. And still inhabit this place.

The expats I've seen here, propped up at the bars, it's like the Harry Potter book where the old professor died but then woke up in the morning and his ghost kept coming to teach class.

There is Club Legend in Mtwapa, owned by Congolese musician Ricky Mulolo.

The club was very rundown, but is actually being completely renovated. New roof et al.

He used to play with his own band there few times a week and also other bands playing there.
