About once a month I go and stay a couple days with my regular in PP. She has a small apartment that she shares with her kid and sometimes a girlfriend. A thitd floor place that overlooks the La Serena parking lot! No running water, and on the third floor that can be a pain.

But it is accross the street from the beach, and has a nice balcony where she can light a charcoal fire and grill some party food. She likes to cook.

Anyway, the kid had a 9th birthday and I promised to buy her a regalo from La Serena, so she grabbed my hand and off we went. It was Independence day or some such and La Serena was jam packed. I said you go find something while I look around the store, but she wanted me to stay with her.

She made a bee line to the household goods and got a 20 pack of matches, then she went to toiletries and picked up two packs of Kotex, and two little bottles of spray cologne, and two hair clips.

What's this I say? She said for Momma and her "aunt". I say what about you? Then she took me over to kids wear and spent a fair bit of time looking at these little jeans and a top. Ok, I said, lets go. She held up the price tag and said no, too much dinero, and walked around to find something else. She could find anything so I took her back to the jeans, She hugged them but still said too much dinero. I grabbed them and put them in the cart. She gave a big smile and said OK we can go. Arn't you going to try them on? No neccesito.

But I didn't want to be coming back to the store, so I took her to the change room and two nice ladies helped her. She came out, a perfect fit!

I don't know the moral of this story but I found her thoughfulness and priorites a little different from the kids her age, back home!

Then a friend suggested "Ceiba Cafe and Pizzeria". Just around the corner and new to me. Wow! There's IS a god!

Now that's a real American / Italian pizza!

I can't speak for other guys, however, it is wise to do your homework and get a "feel" of what the females are asking for before your first time trip. For myself, I didn't make any commitments and / or transactions. It is simply seeing what they are saying. Now, when you physically get there and interact with other guys that have been doing it for years you can compare the prices and see it for what it really is.

I agree with you brother. I can't speak for other guys also. But not everyone has our same philosophy. There are many here willing to tell another man who they should fuck, how they should fuck and how they should spend their hard earned money. They are called critics. They don't count. Only the men the arena do.

Talking to girls online before you arrive can yield excellent results. The concept is called pipelining. And I did it before my return to the RD years and years ago. I was talking to at least 6 chicas via whatsapp before I "had boots on the ground". 5 of them became part of my harem and the sixth one a booty call girl. Yes, this was years ago. But I can't imagine things have changed that much in basic interpersonal relations with chicas. Now I will stipulate that this was Santo Domingo. I truly enjoyed myself. For those on this site giving me good advice, I appreciate it. Your advice was valuable. It was a very laid back, fun, and worthwhile experience. I only stayed (3) nights and (4) days at the Victorian House. Though this is a forum where we can post our experiences, there's no way I'm going to be able to post everything that went down. It was that much fun.

Now, for the others that didn't quite understand the logic of using Tinder, Bumble, and POF to contact these females ahead of time: it was done for purely "feeling" purposes. If you've never been to a country before, you will want to exhaust all of your resources to find out what's happening so that you do as little work as possible in the physical form. I don't owe any of these females a red penny. They can quote as much as they want, but I don't come out of my pockets unless I'm truly feeling the vibe. In fact, I come out of my mouth first. Pockets last. With that said, it was overwhelming. Truly. I regularly speak to women in my gym, on the streets, in the grocery stores. You name it. For those of you that don't allow rejection to stop you then you know what I'm talking about. With that same mindset, I ended up speaking to females working at the money exchange in the POP airport, the restaurants at the POP, and anywhere in between. DR women are extremely open to good conversation and will give out there number like water. Very much easier than here in the US. A lot, if not all, of the females are serious hustlers. I was gentle as a dove but wise as a serpent when dealing with them. I've heard way too many stories of females changing the prices at the last minute, arguing, and in some cases calling the police. I was fortunate enough not to have to experience any of that. I kept all my money and passport in my safe and locked behind the closet. I only had (5) females during the time I was there because I was extremely picky. Why? Because I was able to and I loved it. I will say this. There was a difference between the girls that I met on Tinder and the girls that walk the "strip" in Sosua. The girls that walk the "strip" are way more hardened. It's cool though. I'll be back in a couple of months.

Two ways to avoid the $25 ride into town.

If you do not have heavy bags. Walk thru the parking lot to the main road. Remember. When you come to the main road. You are going left.

You wait and a van will stop by with a bunch of people. It will cost you one dollar (Dominican probably pay $. 50 or 100 p.) to get drop off across the street from bus terminal in Sosua.

Second way. Main road take a taxi. It will be 6-8 US dollar.

Or sometime a taxi is dropping off people at the airport and heading back to the main road. Same prices 6 to 8 dollars. Or 300 to 400 p.

Ten minute walk. Of course if you are in a hurry. Pay the $25.

Also the moto bike will offer as you are walking thru the airport parking. A little bit too far for me on the back of a moto bike carrying a suitcase.

I might add, for those who have pre-arranged a hook up with a chica, get her to pick you up. You won't be paying more than 10 bucks for the ride! Maybe even a cold Presidente too.

But for the regular fare of 25 you'll get an immediate, clean, air conditioned van, with music, your bags taken, which can be a stress free way to start your vacation in Sosua, especially after a long trip! (maybe from the West Coast or Europe) You'll be chilled out at your hotel or favorite bar with a cold one, in 15 minutes, while other more frugal mongers are still at the airport playing hard to get and negotiating!

Sometimes that airport clears out quickly between flights, and you could end up the last man standing and have no choice!

I just got back from a last-minute trip to Sosua. I was lucky enough to have enough frequent flyer miles to fly into Puerto Plata. I tried to avoid the $25 taxi ride but could not find a way around it. Hahahaha. I stayed at the Anton hotel and they gave me a free ride back so it equals out OK. I had no idea it was Dominican Independence Day during my stay but that really did not affect much other than a bigger crowd at Alicia beach. As usual I met some interesting guys and their various viewpoints on what they look for in Sousa. I was there 4 nights and went through 9 condoms. I had a GREAT time! Google translate is a must if your Spanish game is weak. I did my five minutes of chitchat and then got down to what I wanted. I am kind a like Charlie Sheen I pay them to leave. So all my encounters were short time and I never paid more than 2000 pesos. I only found 2 ladies that said no to those terms. One of them claim to be from Venezuela and promised me the extra 1000 pesos would be worth it, as she was right.

I also found a pretty good massage place right across the street from my hotel where I paid 1000 pesos including the tip for a one hour massage (no extras). I also visited the massage place across from Terra Linda resort and paid 1200 pesos tip included for average massage and amazing BJ. Her name is Brenda (The only name I remember of all the ladies I met).

Other than the free breakfast I got at the hotel I couldn't find any decent food on this trip. I have been to the Netherlands, Germany, Scotland, Romania, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico and Canada.

Sousa is my new favorite. I miss that place so much 😆.
