1). There are less tourists, that's why they don't plan to open another help. They tried to open new help many times but it never worked. Because of the Location or the club was too small.

2). Most brazilians are not interested in places like help. They are not interested in freelancers. They prefer games and find girls in the parties without paying cash and bring them to a motel.

3). When it comes to hookers, the Brazilians only stick to Brothels like termas, clubs, prives. Because many of them live in Rio de Janeiro and are married. They don't want to be seen publicly unlike foreign tourist that will go back to their home country.

Help was closed because some people complained, pro religious people. Many families and children live in Copacabana. It was a scandal for many brazilian people. That's why the state closed. And now they build a useless museum. Rio de janeiro is not like Thailand. In Thailand, it's easy to find many clubs where you can find freelancers.

Rio Scenarium is a novelty venue heavily marketed to tourists as a Brazilian music and cultural experience. One might decide it's a tourist trap. The clientele are true couples and groups. Programa girls generally don't mix in well with this type of scene.

Is Arco de Lapa (the aqueduct) still a fun place for the Friday night street party? I would say go there and maybe you can chat up some local girls who look game. If not, you'll still have fun.

They are just trying to get you to walk out of there with them so you will feel guilty and pay their bill on the way out.
