Help was closed because some people complained, pro religious people. Many families and children live in Copacabana. It was a scandal for many brazilian people. That's why the state closed. Rio Scenarium is a novelty venue heavily marketed to tourists as a Brazilian music and cultural experience. One might decide it's a tourist trap. The clientele are true couples and groups. Programa girls generally don't mix in well with this type of scene.

Is Arco de Lapa (the aqueduct) still a fun place for the Friday night street party? I would say go there and maybe you can chat up some local girls who look game. If not, you'll still have fun.

They are just trying to get you to walk out of there with them so you will feel guilty and pay their bill on the way out.
