Azithromycin will be taken generally (1000 MG) in one dose. 2 500 MG pills, or 4 250 MG pills. That takes care of the chlamydia, but not gonnorrhea. You will get a shot of Ceftraxione for gonnorhea. Both those meds will take care of anything you could have as far as minor sti's. It will take about a week before you should have any unprotected sexual contact without being contagious. I'll f Azuthromycin didn't work. The you would take doxycycline everdday (2 times 100 MG) for 7 days.

Many thanks guys for your advice. Yes, I think I need to find a hospital today and try to get a test to see what this is. Unfortunately it is election day today so many businesses are supposedly closed, but probably hospitals are okay.

It is just starting day 3 after treatment today and like you say Bubba it just seems to be getting worse, There is a small clear yellow discharge at the tip, and it seems like the whole urethra is getting inflamed. Having a peee is a nightmare and very painful.

There is no course of meds Bubba. It was an injection to the ass followed by 1 gram of azithromycin taken all at once with 4 pills.

Actually I spoke to the chick who I thought I caught it off. She assures me that she is fine, and that she doesn't have any std's. But maybe there is symptomless gonorrhea sitting at the back of her throat. She says that she often gets tested every few months for a cost of 300 baht.

You would need to have better and thorough medical consultation urgently.

You might want to have a quick STD panel test plus check for UTI culture to identify the bacteria.

Yes I am sure that it taken all at once and at the time of the injection. That is what I am reading on all of the websites. They do mention doxycycline as an alternative to azithromycin and that is taken as a 5 day course I think.

Pharmacies in Thailand can do STD tests? They can give you a shot in the ass for gonorrhea? Would that not be practicing medicine without a license? Regarding Red Cross on Bangkok, I went there a year ago, paid for the test, and was told I would have the result in 2 weeks, which would have been after I left, so it was useless for me.

I never said that Pharmacies do tests but their knowledge can be good on common complaints, once you have been tested and know what is the condition. They know what to do for girls needing the morning after pill. Ha ha. Even doctors guess conditions wrongly so tests are better. Doctors often skip a test and diagnose wrongly. I have the experience of that.

You do not state what was the test that would take 2 weeks. I have never had to wait that long for anything I was tested for, certainly it is not that long to wait for Chlamydia or Gonorreah. Red Cross is both fast and cheap. HIV test is in 2 stages. The first (fairly reliable) result is within 1 hour. It will detect HIV unless was contacted in the last 2 weeks. They then do a 2nd test called amplification, that takes maybe 3 days, when one would be notified only if got a positive.

People are advised to wait for test results, however in practice, if my dick had a serious problem, I would start treating as soon as possible, but get the tests immediately first to make sure was on the right track. I don't like to take anti-biotics unless something really warrants it. Anti-biotics have good and bad effects.

One website recommends Swing Health Centre, Pattaya, however I have not used it nor know the prices.

It just seems to be getting worse even two days after taking the medication. I may have to find a proper doctor and some extra medication. Thanks.

I went through a similar thing 10 years ago. From memory it kept getting worse for a couple of days after taking the prescribed medication and I doubted that it would work. Then on the 3rd or 4th day it got better and was gone by the 5th day.

If you are into the 3rd day of meds, you may as well just finish the course and then if it doesn't clear up look at other solutions.

Azithromycin is one of the most common anti biotics out there, so since you are into the 3rd day of the course you don't have much to lose by just finishing the course

Maybe you don't have STD or maybe your treatment was not well prescibed, before taking any treatment better to have a test to rule out any other bacterial infection. Taking unecessary antibiotics or the treatment is not well prescribed may make your body worse and can lead your body to drug resistance in the future. You may experience urinary tract infection that's not STD. I don't know anything about Thailand. Just find a hospital and get tested in order to have the right treament. You should have an urinalysis to rule out any other urinary tract infection that's performed in the office of the doctor.

Firstly you get treatments from a pharmacy for both of those much more cheaply. May make sense to treat for both. However other conditions are probably possible.

So that is what I would do at first sign of anything wrong, then the pharmacy are experts in the treatment as good as anyone else.

I went to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital last year for diagnosis and treatment and was charged 3100 baht, so 2500 baht is not that bad. There is a clinic, Buakhao Clinic, on Soi Buakhao between Soi 13 and LK Metro Alley that charges 200 baht for gonorrhea testing and 500 baht for chlamydia testing. I don't know how much they charge for the shot and drugs if needed.

She said that they treat gonorrhea and chlamydia together, so that meant an injection in the arse (for the possibility of gonorrhea), plus 4 pills amounting to 1 gram of azithromycin (for both chlamydia and gonorrhea). They didn't even bother to test me for what I had. For the treatment I was charged 2500 baht.

I know one thing for sure, and that is that I will never be engaging in any uncovered activities again. I never want to experience this pain again, and in my opinion BBBJ's are highy over-rated.

For me, it's almost better to repeat with a girl who was solid, well above average, but with flaws, since there's more of a chance the second session will be as good or better.
