It's not that I needed someone to show me around, indeed. I found the girls. I just needed someone else's dick. In order to shag them. They smelled rank and just weren't attractive.

If I go to Dar es Salaam, I have always booked myself to Q-bar. It is cheapest (at least it was) in Ouster Bay area, where most of the action for musungu mongerers takes place. And also bar has girls, looking for customers. Just try to book room from upper floors, so the music of the bar is not so loud. There are lot young economic travelers in the Q-bar hotel, not just sex tourist like me, we may be minority of the hotel customers. Some pretty tourist girls often, you see them in breakfast.

At least before, day to go to Q-bar bar or night club was Thursday, then there were lot of people, live band and people came to dance, and lot of foreigners, meaning also lot of girls. What I like in Q-bar especially in Thursday was that girls knew that there are musungus looking for girl, so tall slim girl came there, just a kind of girl that I also like, I am also musungu.

Other days Q-bar was not so full, but there seems to be always some girl available, often same girls.

On Friday, everybody went to Trinity club, which is in Oyster Bay area also, almost walking distance from Q-bar, but not on night time. Everybody seemed to be there, after midnight or something, also all the working girls.

One place that seemed to be lively in the earlier part of the evenings was George and Dragons. When you go there, don't make that stupid mistake that everybody going there first time seems to do, me included. First part of G&the is a Irish pub, quite boring. There is a door that looks like toilet, and from there you go to second part, that is quite nice and big club, and nice atmosphere. There are girls there also, but it is not so much girl place as other places mentioned here.

Then, if you want to have afternoon company, go to Coco beach. There are lot of girls available there, with cheap prize. Later you will see same girls in all Oyster Bay clubs, with more expensive prize. Even if you don't want to afternoon girl, Coco beach is a place to go for beach and beer, lot of people there especially on weekend. I have never gone swimming there. It is walking distance from Q-bar, in daytime.

All this information is one and half year old. But I chatted with one local girl some time ago, she told me that Trinity is at least popular still, and George and Dragon.

Before in downtown there was quite a good club, forgot the name, it was in one tower, in roof, everybody went there on Saturdays. Could it have been Moonlight or something? Anyway, when I visited Dar one and half year ago, it was still open but totally empty. That just shows how places are very popular some time, and then some other place takes all the customers. I think in this case it was these Elements, and Next Door. Maybe also Samaki Samaki? Those clubs are so near Q-bar that you can walk there even by night. Those are places to go on Saturday, or at least they were.

The Q-bar is a nexus of the Red light district that caters to westerners. If you're in Dar for a short visit and can't speak Swahili or English go there. There's massage parlors all over the place, There's Q-bar itself there's the corner by the Q-bar where you get similar quality of chicks for cheaper there's Elements and the other club right across the street and there's Coco beach.

There's Local oriented spots in Sinza and elsewhere but for the Muzungu this is the place to be.

Zanzibar was a cool town, at least architecturally. Easy to walk around and snap photos. Not too many problems with locals, a few that prey on tourists but harmless. This is the most touristed city I visited in Africa with white folks bumbling around everywhere. (I guess including me). Plenty of good hotels, a few upscale bars and some decent food places. I stayed in Old Town exclusively except for one longer walk way down past the the ferry / pier where things got more local. Quickly. Easy to get lost down alleys and a few moments of panic as if you were in Nairobi your ass would quickly be handed to you if you were caught alone in the maze of streets. But no problem here.

I didn't see any working girls, but then I wasn't looking. I didn't go looking for any girl bars either. But, it's a nice town to take a break for a few days from the rest of Africa and pretend you're not in it.

Dar es Salaam was a dump. Literally.

I unfortunately took advice from board to stay where 'the action is' - at QBar. The rooms are sort of elongated concrete cubes, with plyboard wardrobe, cheap furniture, and just felt like a third-world like a prison cell. The tiny air conditioner took a full 5 HR to cool this room, but thankfully once on. It doesn't get shut off when you leave the room. There was absolutely NO wifi in my room (less than 0. 3 consistently). Loading a web page was nearly impossible, and Skype just a dream. I asked for help from reception dude but didn't seem to give a toss.

At night the girls come into the club downstairs, but not till later - 11:30 pm or 12 am. I went down two nights and had some (inexpensive) beer and looked. But each time a girl would approach me their BO was just so strong I couldn't take sitting next to them. This was a consistent problem for me in every African country I visited (except Ethiopia). The girls (and people in general) just smelled so rank. It was impossible to monger. Which was weird, as sometimes it was very upscale families or couples dressed nicely that smelled the worst.

There were a couple of cute girls at Qbar, but they were all thick-bodies, sweaty, or just sleazy looking. I didn't see any cute 'girl-next-door' types. And again, I only had a few quick conversations as they just smelled so bad. I can't believe you guys bang these girls. But, YMMV.

Just left QBar on the third day and went to Double Tree and had excellent experience with good pool, clean. Comfortable rooms. Went to George and Dragon but was closed on a Monday night.

Went to 'the mall' at The Slip? LOL. Not exactly a mall like you would think of it, some souvenir shops, a grocery store etc. Coco Beach was just an average local beach. Didn't see much else that would bring me back.

Just came back from Zanzibar. A small paradise near the Tanzanian coast. I was accommodated in the northern part of the Island, somewhere between Kendwa and Nungwi villages, an area full with resorts, beach bars and places where to go out. What is interesting that almost every day there is a party somewhere, where you can find both tourists and local girls. Usually there is an entrance fee, which can vary from 2 to 10 USD. First evening I went out in a kind of Disco named Cocobello, a meeting place where you can find quite nice local ladies, very happy to have relations with foreigners, specially with white men, and easygoing. Usually they start the bargain from 100 USD / night, but, at the end, they go for 50-60, depending on your negotiations skills and patience).

The action in the room was quite more than OK, starting with shower together, blowjob (with or without condom, according to the preference), changing positions, also a morning session, everything done with passion, natural moisture and hot fake feelings).

In fact I'm Egyptian so technically I'm an African too (Muzungu-African in one package) , and tall enough to be a threat on the others, So won't run away just because of local guy gave me an aggressive look, hahaha.

But I agree that his option is not for me because I always believe that cheap girls equal to higher infections risk, (doesn't mean that expensive is not), but it's a matter of decrease the possibilities, plus the risks of getting theft by the girl herself, for example in QBAR most of girls know each other, and some of them know me now and became my friends / team, which giving me some kind of theft protection advantage compared to the other one time catchers.

I believe that you meant QBAR as a night club, not as a hotel, which I partially agree with you, but QBAR as a hotel is just perfect for me because of many personal reasons.

I insisted to pick girls from Qbar night club as I'm new in such type of mongering and wanted to do it in a location make me feel safe, but for sure will try other clubs in Masaki.

Regarding the rates, I received the 50 K offers many times but for the 1 shot sex, but I'm usually into the long period model, (at least 4 hours), which cost more.
