First I went to the Al Diar Capital Hotel on Al Mina Road. Mardigras is on the ground floor (entrance from lobby) and Rockbottom is on second floor. No cover charge at either place. There was no live band playing (apparently the only night that is the case) but it was still overly loud for me with recorded music. Also, there was a lot of cigarette smoke.
