One big reason why I like Chicago over Adelitas is the seating situation. On a weekend evening, Adelitas has a great selection and most of the old, ugly and lumpy ones have gone home. However by that time, it is extremely difficult to find a seat. I can stand and wander up to 20 minutes, but after that the fun factor start to evaporate. It is unfortunate that Adelitas is unable to expand upward like HK. And consequently I leave Adelitas for fresher destinations like Chicago where I can pick my seats base on my mood. BTW, Chicago (and Adelitas maybe) have added a free shuttle back to the border. Nice touch. Now if only Chicago and Adelitas can join forces and add a VIP card, that would be ideal.

I believe Adelita is going to expand in the direction of the alley. Complete with an alley entrance into the club. If you remember that little lower section in Valentina Bar is now closed off and will become the expansion and alley entry into Adelita.

Chicago is clearly the 2nd best after HK, and a step above Adelitas. It has a chilled atmosphere. There is so much space in the club that one can pick out an area to chill. The front is loud and has constant multiple dancers. The middle has a stage that has a featured dancer. The back is less loud and has a Jacuzzi and the third stage for whip cream shows. This area has more private booths and is quieter. The lighting is also better than Adelitas. Here the girls are generally as young as HK but slightly less perfect (less makeup, less silicone). There are less waiters working and so they don't harass customers as much as HK waiters. I just wish that Chicago has a VIP card program similar to HK to help offset hotel cost.

Things go in cycles, long cycles and short cycles. I remember back in 2002 & 2003, before I went to Tijuana, heck before I ever looked for and found hooker sites on the internet. I had two different co-workers at CPA firms I worked with, pull me aside and tell me what great times they had in the Chicago Club. Back then each of them described the other big hooker bar, Adelitas, as large bar, half a block away, that catered more to the Mexican locals. I made many visits in 2005, and by then, Adelitas dominated, HK had yet to emerge as a significant bar, and Chicago Club was well past its earlier glory days.

Chicago yes, is nothing like the former Chicago from a couple years back. It has undergone a dramatic transformation for the better. But I wouldn't necessarily say it is "clearly" 2nd best after HK. AB will have 3 x the chicas that Chicago will on any given weekend. I do not like the "business only" attitude of the plurality of AB chicas so I myself would rank it below Chicago, but there are many mongers who would contend, because of sheer chica volume, that AB is superior. TB will also have more chicas than Chicago. Quality difference is negligible. For now I prefer TB over Chicago.

I hit Chicago about 8:30 last Saturday, and I was impressed.

I remember, a few years back, when the most interesting thing about Chicago was that you could get a hand-job in a back booth, from an over-the-hill plumper. It was dirty, with few girls and fewer guys, and incredibly pushy waiters.

Now, that place is clean, there's a shiny new limo out front, the girls were plentiful, and prettier than the ones at HK (IMO. I'm not a big fan of bolt-ONS). The place was pretty busy, but there were plenty of seats available. The meseros minded their manners.

And the bathtub show was refreshing, sensuous, with the girls doing there best to make you fall in lust. (Better, IMO, than HK's shaving cream show.).

In short, the place was more comfortable and more entertaining than anything I've seen in a long time.

If you are worried about theft, buy a Pacsafe Travelsafe, the Travelsafes come in different sizes. They are made from steel mesh but look like cloth with a wire loop to hook onto secure points, to which you then padlock. When I bring mine to Tijuana, I usually put my valuables into the Travelsafe, loop the steel wire around the base of the toilet, then padlock it to the toilet. Your wallet, laptop and whatever else are secure from petty thieves.

I also noted AnEaglesFan's response with his comments as to what he does to help prevent suffering similar losses, and I would like to expand upon his post.

When I first started reading these "hooker boards" back in 2004, I read numerous posts talking about using a "street girl roll" for your pants when undressing in the hotel room with a sex worker.

It was suggested that the monger might hold his pants by the waistband, fold them once, and then roll them up. Begin rolling them at the waist tightly, all the way to the end of the legs. Basically a 'tight roll' much like you would do with a sleeping bag, with the pant pockets deep in the inside of the rolled-up clothes. With your pants rolled up into a tight tube it is easy to keep your pants away from the chica (s). If the chica is on your right side, keep your rolled up pants to your jeft side, with your body separating the chica from your jeans. If you need to go to the bathroom, take your rolled-up pants in with you to the bathroom instead of leaving your pants with an unsupervised sex worker. Rolled up pants could rest on the toilet tank's cover. That way you can shower or take a crap while protecting you money deep in the pant's pockets.

Went by the corner by the Gloria Club this afternoon and a promoter was handing out coupons for a free beer in the Chicago Club across the street for April 17th and 18th. FYI.

I know an American girl that has a house on the beach in Rosarito, its pretty nice as I went there to visit her, they got a couple of strip joints but it is tamer than T. J. I think it was about a $17 Uber ride from Tijuana. Its definitely safer and cleaner than Tijuana. We went to Bada Bing (Strip Joint) but it didn't open until later in the evening. The main attraction is Poppas and Beer which caters to a lot of tourist (american and Mexican) both male and female, kinda of like a wild american bar right on the beach.

I've had this happen by a duo working in the States. Learned a lesson that night. Single lady or duo pair, if you're going to use "her" shower take all your stuff with you where you can keep it in sight. Typically I just wait until I'm back at my hotel to take shower.

They tried to usher me into the shower, but it was freezing cold, and the other girl helped herself to anything left in my wallet while I did so. It had hardly anything left, maybe $25, but still, there's plenty of little thieves like this.

Rosarito is nice, personally I prefer playas but from the revolucion to Rosarito you can take an Uber for about 15-25 bucks, you get there pretty quick. You can also take a shared taxi which is like 50 pesos but it takes double the time since they pick up people along the way.
