Thanks all for the advice. Travelling with friends so Judy's or Manhattan probably not possible. Was hoping to find a sauna but since I can't speak Chinese may just head to Spring Massage as I have heard so much about it.

Started talking to this girl about 35-40, very pretty and spoke good English. She was quite curvy which I liked and very well dressed in an almost conservative way. After a drink on me and a nice chat, she sprang the question. We walked back to the Waldorf and the doorman just smiled and let us in. The elevators are in the middle of the complex on the way to one of the bars, so we just rode up and spent the night. Great session, she was trimmed but new shaved and loved get DATY a lot. BBBJ, nice slow fucking. Two shots in the evening and one in the morning. Set me back 3000 EMY but so worth it. Have new date with her tonight!
Just looking for a hotel in Shanghai where there is action, or near to the action. In Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore, I always go to the Hyatt because the bar is full of freelancers, but this will be my first time in Shanghai, so is the Waldorf the best?

I use NordVPN and it works great. I'm in China now and have had no problems connecting to Google or in using Gmail. It is only $3 per month and covers up to 5 devices.

It is a good idea to use at home as well any time you are on Wi-Fi.

    Red Rider.

Correct, do not follow people who stops you on the street. Nanjing or Xintiandi.

I think you have solved all these problems long time ago, and probably can give a good advice. Thanks!!

(Apologies for the nearly OOT question).
I use ExpressVPN. It is a paid service but I think you can buy just one month then cancel. With it, you can install on a computer and also a smartphone with one subscription.

I have not had good luck finding other good maps in English. Google is best. Gaode maps is good if you can read Chinese (I can't). Download the Google translate app and the Chinese language pack.

    Have fun. Be Safe.

    DoIt.

Right, I just tell them when I arrive (in Chinese) that I only want a young woman. Then they propose the 396 option. So I end up with 396+ maybe 200 for a hot, young naked thing but no sex. Not a great deal but it's something.

As to the oil up-sell, I believe that depends on the provider. It's part of their tip, essentially.

Yes, the price went up to 396 a few months ago. At the time, they dropped the oil up-sell scam (+40, +60 or +80), but as of a couple of weeks ago, they've started doing it again. So count on 436 before tips.

    The 396 option at Springs

I think one thing that noobs need to be aware of that is that 396 option is not on the menu. You have to ask for it. And if you're a noob and you cannot speak Mandarin, then this may be awkward.
