As others have said it depends on the shop. One well known shop in Thong Lor charges the girls 3000 per day for weekdays and 5000 per day for Saturday and Sunday. Absenteeism is almost unheard of at weekends obviously.

If the girls want an extended time off to go upcountry or visit family etc (more than a couple days) they take as long as they like and pay 10000 when they return rather than multiple daily fines.

Just wanted to give an update on Emmy at SW. I gave the shop a call and was told that she's been gone for a while already.
