Medellin Hotels and Rental Apartments

I stayed at the mansion last year and it was nice because girls were already there and you don't have to worry about a flake.

But paying 200 mil for a hour when you can get the same At the casas much less has be thinking ID do my trip differently.

I want to find a chica friendly hotel in centro (any ideas) and hit up some of the casas in centro pay a exit fee for the girl and.

Negotiate a price for her to stay the night. That way I don't need to go out to to find a girl. I can pay 200-300 mil for the night and.

That's much better than the mansion for just one hour.

What do you guys think?

First of all, my opinion of the the Mansion is that management there lies and steals, but it remains popular for many people. On average, you will pay less for women at the Mansion than women you find around Parque Ileras. Many of the women at the Mansion will accept less than 200 mil. You will be very lucky to find any woman around Parque Lleras for 200 mil. The rooms at the Mansion cost more than any comparable room in the area. Airbnb apartments can be found for about half the price of Mansion rooms.

As for the Airbnb you mention, I have no idea where that may be. The only place (other than the Mansion) I know about in Poblado where you can readily pick up ladies is Gustos. There are no apartments above it. Other than strip clubs, casas, Gustos, and the Mansion, there are no other clubs in Medellin where the women there are waiting to be scooped up by mongers, that I have heard of.

It is called Provenza Party Lofts? So honestly unless the Mansion and Medellin have just over the top women, it sounds like I could go back to Blackbeards. But honestly I liked the idea of a new country and ladies. Worries me that I'm reading management would lie and cheat or steal, kinda removes the "safety" feeling.

I was told to stay in El Poblado or Parque Lleras and there is an Airbnb owned by some Americans I believe, with built in bar / club downstairs to pick up girls? Curious to know the cost difference in these places. I would hate to pay higher price to stay at the mansion and pay more for the girls on top of that too.

Of course you will pay a bit of a premium at the Mansion but it takes the risk out of you especially for a newbie type guy to Medellin. As others have said it is similar to BB in the DR. It is convenient and gives the newbie an opportunity to get the lay of the land and most likely on future visits you can go at it solo.

I have read many of your fine posts. I will be going to MDE first time in Noviembre. Veteran of Tijuana and now DR (and Philippines). I did DR without Blackbeards so I want to follow suit in MDE without Mansion. Can you recommend $60/ night hotel, clean, quiet, near action (preferably walking distance)? Poblado? Cheers.

That's the Mansion. There are girls around the pool daytime and in the bar at night. Similar to Blackbeard's, minus the giant jacuzzi. You should contact them immediately, because they are usually booked up. You'll find like minded mongers there with experience in Medellin.

You won't find freelancer bars like you can find in the DR. However, you can find freelancers in many of the night clubs around Parque Lleras. Be prepared to get charged 2 or 3 times the going rate. There are dozens of more casual bars in El Centro where you can find freelancers, but that area might be scary to you.

Yes, that is the place. I have never stayed there but it is an option if you are new and want to be around like minded people. I don't think the place precludes you from leaving and going to strip clubs and hooking up with free lancers outside the establishment, but I have never stayed there so you should check the trip reports.

In general, there are many hotels and apartments you can stay in around the city if you prefer to go that route. As someone else suggested, you can read through various threads including this one for suggestions. You have everything from roach motels to luxury apartments throughout the city, depending on your taste, location, etc. Good luck!

Hotel porton is good for the reasons you ask. Right across the street from Santa Fe mall, so very convenient.

Excellent rooms too. Plus English is spoken at the front desk.
