I double-checked with the man in the Reisecentrum first to make sure I had the right class of ticket..

A lot to respond to here. First, let me reinforce that I do not work for the club, as some people have suggested, but I have spent a couple hours in the club so I'm pretty familiar with the format in the club and the surrounding area.

1. The last time I went there was an ATM in the Casino in the bottom of the ISA Hotel 200 m from the club. The next closest flash point to the club is at the Shell station. 2. You say you are escaping sex prison. Think about it from the smokers perspective. They get a freedom to smoke inside a bar / public social area. They are escaping no smoking prison.

3. There are 4 bathrooms for use by men: 2 urinals and a sink just across the stairs from reception, a toilet and 3 sinks behind the bar, a toilet, urinal and sink downstairs across from room 11, a toilet and sink in the corner near the jacuzzi. I'm a teeth brushing fool and never have had a serious issue to brush why teeth.

Yes LR security guys are very polite and I think they can be useful in a club with free beer and sometimes drunk guys on late night. I also wish it will never happen to LR desk what happened to a GT desk girl hit by a client. If you don't make problem, I never had any problem with any security in any club in whole FKK land.

LR security guys are bigger than at GT where they were right to call polizei. Alcohol and drugs can make problems.

As for the cash dispenser, you can find one in the basement of Hotel Isa, near the casino. It's behind a door labelled Gastro or Cafe, something like that. If it's not working, you can get cash from the gas station on the other side of the train station but maybe you have to pay a little more.

For teeth brushing, you can find a basin behind the first door on your left when you enter the club, in the same corridor as the restaurant. There are also toilets behind the bar (near the rooms). And one in the wellness space, between the jacuzzi and the shower.

I suggest you not to tip, LR is still a club where you can get a full service for 50 euros, don't give bad habits to the girls. Bring her chocolate or lingerie if you want. If I understand correctly, you stayed 1,5 hour with her, it's already a good bargain for her.

At Neuss I could pick up the S28 line again and got to the IKEA Kaarst station. I had reserved a room at the Mercure Hotel not far away. I crossed the road just north of the train tracks. Getting to Mercure from the IKEA Kaarst train platform involves walking north and turning right (east) at the Shell station (Tankstelle). Walk down this road until you get to the Ford automobile dealership. The street curves 90 degrees to the left (north). Walk one block north and turn right. Look for the hotel on your left. It is set back from the road.

I got checked in and cleaned up. Surprisingly, I wasn't in need of a nap. I felt ready to go, so off I stepped into the NRW evening. I wanted more money and asked the receptionist where there was a "cash point" / geldautomat. She said the hotel did not have one, but the Shell station did.

I retraced my steps, pausing to smell the lilacs and honeysuckle that were blooming. The weather was just about perfect, and lucky me, it would remain so throughout the trip. When I got to the Shell station I didn't see a cash machine anywhere. I should have asked, but assumed Living Room would have one.

To get to Living Room from IKEA Kaarst, one finds a path that leads south from the station parking lot past an electrical substation. You'll see the fence and the warning signs with the lightning bolt saying "Lebensgefahr."

When you get to the street, turn left. This is Bruchweg. You're getting close when you see a restaurant on your left. Living Room will be on the right. You can see the rooftop sign from Bruchweg quite easily. Turn right off of Bruchweg onto August-Thyssen-Straße. LivingRoom is close to the corner but not quite. I was going to take a picture of it from the outside, but to my surprise there were a couple of security guys out on the sidewalk, so I abstained.

LivingRoom. The basics.

Press the buzzer to have them unlock the steel gate for you. I mentioned it was my first time, and the receptionist called one of the ladies to give me a brief tour. She led me downstairs and asked which locker I had been assigned and showed me the proper section of the locker room. She pointed out the hot tub, sauna, and shower areas, and closed her brief talk by mentioning meal times.

I had trouble getting the lock to work at first. After I'd stripped and showered, I couldn't get the door to lock shut. The locker doors have a small plunger that you press in to lock the door. What I didn't understand was that you had to hold your wristband directly against the depressed plunger for 1-3 seconds until you heard a click. Then the door was locked. To unlock it, hold your wristband "dial" against the plunger, and it will pop up.

The shower bay has about six spray heads, perhaps five of which spat cold water--an unpleasant discovery. Shower gel is provided in squeeze dispensers mounted on the wall next to each water control knob.

I wish there were more sinks. I wanted to brush my teeth and use mouthwash, but only found one WC. The room had two toilet stalls and one sink. Sometimes one had to wait or take turns. I stepped out of the room, working away with a toothbrush while another monger washed his hands. Two ladies saw me from down the hall by the towel racks. One called out, "You OK?"

Rooms are on the main floor and will have a sign hung on them that either says "occupied" or "free" in German.

When you're ready to shop for a good time, one heads upstairs. There are three main areas: the bar, the "living room" (which seems to be the smoking area), and the food tent.

You enter the bar area first. There will be a few ladies seated back from the bar, keeping watch over the mongers coming in, giving them a wink and a nod. Other ladies are at the bar, usually with customers. More recline in the "living room" on couches, smoking. The smoke can be dense in there, and for me it's a big turn-off. A pretty face approaching yours with smoky breath is bad enough. Sitting down and trying to have a conversation while she's puffing and your eyes are stinging and watering is even less appealing.

To get to the food tent, pass through the couch / smoking area and step down into the garden. When I was there, the buffet had kraut, potatoes, bread, and meats. Decent quality. Good selection of bottled beer (no extra charge) in the refrigerator immediately to your left as you walk in.

Management definitely erred on the side of too much warmth in the tent. With three or four patio heaters going, it was hot in there.

Now that I was ready for action, I headed upstairs and looked over the talent. I made eye contact and greeted the ladies who sat on stools near the entrance and others who were seated around the bar. There was a cutie in the couch area who, unfortunately, wouldn't make eye contact with me. Young blonde, short hair. Well, if I turn her off that much, I wouldn't want to be in bed with her.

- Fresh towels readily available.

- Slippers are not given to you at the desk as they are at Sharks. You pick your size from a rack down in the locker room.

- Got good service from two ladies. No upselling in the room.

- One frequently hears the clacking sound of heels on the wooden stairs. It's kind of a turn-on when you think of it.

- House madam asked me if everything was ok when I checked out.

- Easy to get to from IKEA Kaarst station (S-bahn 28).
