I think we forget the value of the currency and get caught up in the wheeling and dealing. I don't think 10,000 will buy you anything, particularly in Kuta, these days. I am fortunate enough to have the patience and time in my work place to research and find girls who are happy to meet me for the experience and a days fun expecting only food and drink as payment so I really do not have any idea of how much a brothel in Kuta cost.

I have never stayed at Sanur before, but suspect that if a doorman is present you just need to give him a smile and a tip on arrival and he'll be a good friend from thereon in. He might even be able to help arrange girls.

Some members with Sanur experience can hopefully confirm if I'm making sense and add more info.

Everyone is different and have different budgets so each to their own but don't be a tight arse because you are in a poorer country.

I agree prices are prices and why haggle if you are buying a Bintang singlet. I wouldn't haggle at my local brothels so I don't think I should in any Asian country. If you don't like the price move on. If you don't like the price but like the girl take her, don't have any regrets later and maybe you can organise sometime with her out of hours at a cheaper rate.

That's so funny, because one hawker on Legian actually sold me a Bintang singlet! And I actually wore it on Copacabana last month strutting around like a bogan. Bad taste knows no geographical limits, I guess.

But, to answer your question: I would haggle in Bali (or anywhere) if I was being charged more than a local. Its just the principle of it. You wouldn't haggle at your local brothel, but your local brothel isn't charging you or anyone else a premium because of their ethnicity, are they?

All I expect is to pay a fair rate. And in an environment like Bali, where cheating tourists is the name of the game, I learned simply not to say yes to any price that was given verbally. That became obvious the first time I took a stroll down Legian. You seem to think I am not being reasonable for insisting 300 k instead of the 400 k I was quoted. I posted a report on another forum, an Australian one, and someone responded that I only should have paid was 250 k, not 300 k (as if $3 and some change in USD was a significant amount). Obviously I am not going to make anyone happy here, except myself and the lady I tip for her good service.

I spent ten days in Bangkok / Pats after Bali. Should I just pay the guy at the x house the equivalent of a Bangkok / Pats barfine? Going rate a mid-level ggb, 1,000 tb (500 tb). So make it 450,000 to the handler at the x house? Then pay the girl the going rate in Bangkok / Pats? 2000 tb for st? Make that 900,000 idr? Of course not. We know the cost of services are very different in an x house vs Sabang vs Los Vegas vs Pattaya vs Singapore. Know the price and pay the going rates. You do not base your payments on your home country standards.

My way of thinking is.

1/ Its way cheaper to fuck in Asian then most Western countries.

2/ I won't begrudge a girl I like over a couple of bucks.

3/ Every market is different so I know I expect to pay an Indonesian girl more because no barfines for example.

Agreed completely. Because as Westerners, we are paying a higher rate, so haggling is fair. But, I always handed the girl a 50 k tip, they looked like it was Christmas (if these Muslim girls actually knew what it was to get presents on Christmas). I did not tell them I would tip them for good service, beforehand (but they delivered the best service I've had in any brothel, anywhere and that includes Germany, Colombia, Malaysia or Brazil). I get that tips are pretty rare, given the surprised looks.

But hey, you would not haggle in a bordello in Germany, Colombia or Brazil. And you wouldn't pay more for being a foreigner. The pricing is consistent and fair for all parties from the get go. You wouldn't give a tip either (no you do not tip them for good service. Its supposed to good in the first place).

But, where did you find that girl? The room decor in the photos looks too nice for an X-house.

Some of the Muslim girls do know about Christmas, if they go to any shopping centre in Indonesia there will be Christmas decorations and if they miss you at Christmas they will definitely want something at the Eid, coming up in 3 weeks. Both those pictures where taken at 67 X. The room is not as nice as it appears and the 22 year old girl is (better than she appears, LOL). If I find her name, I will post.

When you are walking toward 67 x from the Circle K, that wall you see directly ahead of you is the side of the rooms. There are two in that building. This room is the second of two.

Interesting thing is some girls are off limits to foreigners. I persisted to have one girl that refused to go with non-Indonesian guys apparently. No big deal as there was another similarly hot woman to choose from.

This is how you sort out the best girls. As I reported last year, I walked into a few places where the girls were terrified when I looked at them, and the rest were older, fatter, and tattooed up. The latter started at their phones and regarded me with indifference. One mumbled something but I could make out the word, " bule". I walked, of course. Too may choices to settle for less.

At the locations where I scored, the girls in the fishbowl who gave me the most enthusiastic looks were the ones I chose. And they were outstanding. One young, small, skinny girl seemed excited to be with an old bule like me. Yes, she was rather tight but she seemed excited about the whole thing and shook her head when I pulled out a packet of lube. She didn't speak English but she had this look like "I got this" when she climbed on top and worked me into her sweet spot. I was really surprised by her enthusiasm. But, from her perspective it might have been like getting upgraded from coach to first-class and you get paid a tip at the end!

She never sees what I give the guy. I save the money for her. My typical tip is no less than 100,000 to the girl. They are extremely happy with that. I tell them up front that I am going to tip them if we have a good time together. Please do not discourage any of us from paying more than we have to to the handlers. Attached are some tasteful pictures of a stunning 22 year old that was suggested to me by the handler to whom I paid 250,000 idr, and gave a 100,000 tip to her. She was very happy to see me request her for a repeat my last night in Sanur.

Does the Ramadan have much effect on the amount or quality of working women available in Bali's Spas, brothels, x houses etc?

Are any places closed or only open at certain times?

Many that work there are not from the area so yes.

In many western countries you are paying 2,000,000 for an hour long romp so 350,000 will seem like a bargain for most punters.

Agree with you Rob. I cannot see the logic in arguing over $3-$5. But that could well determine the quality of service you get from the girl.
