Are trikes allowed down WS when the road is blocked to cars?

I don't think I've seen one but if I / the OP arrived at 10 pm could we be dropped at the front of say the Gran Central?

Girl Friendly Hotel Close to Manila Airport.

    Hi,

I'm looking for a Hotel Close to Manila Airport for a nights stay. Prefer if I can get the chicks in the hotel or closeby, instead of going out a looking for them.

Any recommendations would be absolutely fantastic.

    BB.

You board on the right side of the flag poles which is a drop off point for everyone. The flag poles are centered in a median divider of a one way entrance. There is only one stop at the mall and this is it. It is a good walk to walking street especially if you are dragging luggage and it is hot outside.

Looking for the best "short-stop" hotel that's over on the T1 side of the airport. Girl friendly as I'll have 6 hrs to play, but want to avoid the city. Any suggestions for walkable places from T1?

Also. Having read the forum, I don't see a lot of comments about great rimming girls. Keen to find some chick that like to give a catbath in that part.

    Much thanks in advance.

Not a hotel, but there are ways to kill your time close to the airport; Starfleet, Flight 168, and Fusion.

I meant that Walking Street is open to cars during the day so a taxi or charter could drop the OP directly at any hotel there. This would be my preferred option if I was arriving at mid day with lots of luggage.

However, he is arriving at night, when WS is foot traffic only and the Genesis stop is very close. It's an easy walk with light bags.

    Cheers. G.

I also neglected another very minor point 🙄 . For a late night arrival, Walking Street will be well. . . . Walking Street ie no vehicular access to drop you off at the hotel door so you will be walking your bags WS's length to your hotel anyway.

    Enjoy. G.

Does the location make a difference, when leaving for Angeles, that is next morning?

Have stayed in Pasay near MOA, this was fairly close to airport which meant fairly short trip from plane flight.

Not looking to monger in Manila saving $$ for Angeles.

I arrive at 5 pm so is staying in Manila a better option than straight to Angeles vs peak hour traffic?

You could just chill and then head out.

If you go and get something to eat and a soapy, by the time you are done it will be around 10.

The traffic is between you and QC, once you get past balintawalk it is smooth sailing, and that traffic dies down after 10.

If not a spa (like wensha) is good to kill a few hours.

I have taken both. The slowest part is getting thru Manila to the highway. The bus uses a special bus lane which I have found to be a bit faster. My judgement is based on watching the cars from the bus going slower than the bus.

On the highway it is the same. The car will take you direct to your hotel. The private car will stop if you have to eat or take a restroom break.

Does taxi get there any significant time faster?

    Private transfer MOA to AC

Do you have some contacts or sites that provide this private transfer?

Personally, I'd just put the $55 towards a comfortable door to door transfer and leave straight from the airport, bypassing a night in Manila.

If you are looking to save cash then like for like accommodation is cheaper in AC anyway and you will arrive in time to find a bed mate or have an early night and be onsite, ready to go first thing in the morning.

    Enjoy. G.

If you really want to avoid traffic then catch the bus at 11 pm or later. 2 hours then.

    Bus is 350-400 pesos.

This is exactly what I did on my last trip, so let me add to what 87 has written.

I landed at Terminal 2 so needed to get to T3. The Genesis bus only goes to T3. The free shuttle had a long line. I went out of Terminal 2 to find an alternative. One guy tried to get me into a taxi and said the bus wouldn't come for another hour. Ten minutes later a Premium bus pulled up. I asked the driver if he stopped at T3. He waves me on. I ask, what time do you leave. He answers "one fifty". Tired from my five-hour flight, I looked at my watch and it says 3 pm. Took me a moment of thought, but he apparently was telling me the price. So off we went to T3 for P150. Too far to walk, BTW. Got on the Genesis bus.

Late afternoon and traffic was bad. We spent over an hour on EDSA blvd. I was beginning to regret my choice, but once we finally got on the highway it was smooth sailing.

I had hoped the Genesis bus would drop us off somewhere near the SM Mall jeepney terminal (east end of the mall). It didn't. It dropped us off at the west end. I walked to my hotel near Fields. Walking is doable, but the suitcase wheels took a beating, and luckily it wasn't too hot, nor was it raining.

In conclusion, I will probably stick to my usual itinerary which would be a night in Manila and then the Swagman bus (p 600) to AC (drop off at hotel). Nevertheless, it's nice to have another transportation alternative.
