When I was in my 30's I had a similar experience with a girl from Costa Rica. Fell hard for her, sent her $100 every couple of months in between trips to see her. Isis is inside the old city. It's the most expensive option but its point and click. If you speak Spanish and want something more laid back try La Dulce Vida around 11 pm. Keep in mind some days its dead and some days its hoping. Space is right next door. The chicas move around in herds.

If you leave the tourist areas you need to keep your wits about you. There isn't as much police presence and with the Venezuelan migrants showing up Cartagena isn't as safe as it once was.

It's a slower time of the year right now compared to early or late in the year. You'll be fine. Just stick to the tourist areas. There's little to no reason to go elsewhere for mongering.

As mentioned in many posts before, chica friendly places are to be found. Rules vary a lot from place to place. A safe and secure option are motels. Bring the lady there for 2 hours and get back to your hotels without worries. Cost: around 20 usd for a good one.

I was just in ctg 1 week ago and that worked out perfectly.

That's Juan so I think it should be fine. Then again people here won't post saying its chica friendly or not because lots of people going to these buildings for mongering means there will always be a bad apple or two. Explore and learn which buildings have rules.

(Hint, most allow some visitors up to a curfew).
