From Bamburi to Moi Airport Uber estimated 1500.1600 kes for me, last januari. Bamburi is closer to the airport than Mtwapa, so 1100. Unlikely.

I offered a driver that I know 2500, because I wanted to make sure he would come to pick me up in the middle of the night.

Its 1200 using Uber to Mtwapa. From Mtwapa I paid 1100 to airport.

Since I came from kisumu with a SIM card and data bundle I had no problem to use UBER at Mombasa airport.

Bidibadu beach resort is GF, right on the beach with very cool people.

I recommend the rooms in the main building.

- Transport from Airport Mombasa to Mtwapa for 2500.

Its 1200 using Uber to Mtwapa. From Mtwapa I paid 1100 to airport.

Since I came from kisumu with a SIM card and data bundle I had no problem to use UBER at Mombasa airport.

Dodochen gave a good & quite complete report of the situation in & around Mtwapa.

Just a few additions;.

Yes, it's true that the original Cobba Cabana Club is a rip off, but fortunately nowadays there are so many other places to sit & have a drink on that stretch of the beach. There is one at the very end, behind the boats laying on the beach, called The Crab's Den, a real hide out with nice places to sit between the rocks.

If the water is low you can walk from the other side of the beach to the Beach Bar, also a nice & very quiet hide out, with the best grilled fish in town at very affordable prices.

You can also get there from the other side, but it's difficult to find the road & the road is very bad.

At the other ens of the scale is the quite expensive Monsoon Restaurant at the Jumba Ruins site, a bit out of town. Some say it's the best restaurant in town, but you have to take some transport to go there. Or you can walk from the beach when the water is low. If you go to this restaurant you don't have to pay for the Ruins park, but you are not allowed to get off from the path.

And oh yes. The second free pizza in Big Tree is on Wednesdays, same in La Follia at Mtwapa Mall on Sundays and 25 % reduction on everything in Safari Inn restaurant at Shanzu beach side on Thursdays.

I was in April in mtwapa. I am more a young one and more the adventure typ. I had some good girls there. My best experience was with girls from the internet (tinder) or connections (ask driver). The most ones (like other told) has kids.

And I make a small Map with the important locations.

Red – Action place to find girls.

Green – Hotels.

Blue – Restaurants (not good for girls).

Yellow – misc, sightseeing, Shooping-Malls, Beach places.

Red Mtwapa.

- Casaurina: Biggest location. Is always open, but empty till nearly 10 pm. Most girls are hardcore between 20 and 30 years. Friday and Saturday really full, I think 40-70 girls in max. Other days maybe 10-20.

- In the near of Causaurina: On the opposite of the Causaurina are some other places. More for the normal african people. If you are not shy then you could here find some girls. But at the days I travel back, there was a fire. I think now it will take some days till it is open again.

- Mtwapa Street: Not fare away from Casaurina at a bank, there are every night some hardcore Streetwalker. Depends on day between 3 – 8 girls. Similar quality as Casaurina. On the street at eagles nest you can find more "normal" girls at daytime and night. But you have to make the first contact.

- Danka Lounge: High Society location. Full and bike like Casaurina. More normal african people and girls, but girls for fun, too. You must make the first step. I think higher girl prices, too.

Red Other.

- Cheers: There are two days for going to this place for girls (food is there always good). That are the days, when the live band is there. It will starts at 8 pm. I think (not sure) it is Wednesday and Saturday. Then it is full of sexy girls and muzungus. I like this place and in my eyes it has more sexy girls as casuarina. It is not fare away from bamburi beach and at the way to the beach you come to big tree where you could find girls, too.

- Big tree: Daytime location for girls. On the beach and nice place. Not so many girls. Not sure about the day, but Thursday you get two pizzas for the price of one.

- Bamburi Beach It starts at Big tree / Pirates to nord and ends at Yul's. Both places where you could drive with car and go direct to the beach. Some massage girls will ask you for massage (I think without happy ending for 1500 but I think 1000 is OK). There is not so much action at the beach. I think the time is over for action at the beach. The most people will ask you for safari.

- Anuba Lounge: High Society like Danka, but more high society. On Saturday really full. Not so many working girls, but a cool place.

- Danka Lounge: High Society location. Full and bike like Casaurina. More normal African people and girls, but girls for fun, too. You must make the first step. I think higher girl prices, too.

- New Samba Sports Bar / Shots Bar / Other Bars at Bamburi Town: Many local people around, not so many muzungus, good place to find normal girls, but you must make the first step. Some streetwalker you could find on the streets.

- Casablanca Club: I was Saturday there. It was not empty and not full. Many working girls (20-35). Most are not hot but some are hot. There was no other Muzungu around. Girls are much more aggressive as other places. There is a short time room for having fun. And I had the chance for a threesome. But I not do it, stupid of me, because this both girls were really hot (big tits, slim body, young maybe 21). Price depends on you, one girl mean short time for 1000. Around of Casablanca are other places, but I think it is not safe.

Internet:

I just use tinder. Age 18 – 21 years. I had one girl from there for one week. Nice normal trustful girl. The only one which is not going direct in my hotel room LOL. Two others I ask for direct coming to my hotel. Both time it works and after 10-20 min we had sex. Service was more GF. Price for 2 hours was 1500. I talk before about price, always talk about transport money! There are many many many girl on tinder.

Green (Hotels).

- Prestige Leisure: Is my recommendation, nice apartments with AC. I was in room number 301 and 302. The normal Rooms are very small. It was for me necessary to switch the room because I make no reservation in internet. Next time, if I will come back, I will make a reservation for the whole time. Sometime I had trouble with no remote control for ac, no safe in room, no towels. Beside this it was good and better as the rest in mtwapa for price and service. (Girl Friendly with ID-Check).

- Merry Villa: Really friendly stuff, little bit more expensive as prestige if you want AC. Big problem was that at the moment they build a building besides merry villa. (Girl Friendly).

Blue (Restaurants).

- Wellfit Bacery: I love this place, it is a German bakery. Cheap, nice people, good quality food and coffee. No beautiful location and on the street.

- Eagles nest: I know, many people like this place. I don't like it. The food was not so good and the stuff is not so friendly. Just one good Point. You can sit up and look on the street for girls .

- The Moorings: Not so friendly stuff, but a good restaurant for fish and sitting on the mtwapa creek. You must drive with driver to this place.

- La Marina: The best restaurant in Mtwapa. Your driver need a ID for the way to this place. It is more expensive and has friendly stuff and good food. I love this place.

- Yul's: A good Restaurant for Muzungus at the bamburi beach. Nice service, higher prices and good food. Big selection of Ice-Cream, too.

Yellow (Misc).

- Coba Cabbana Beach in Mtwapa: Don't use there the beach chairs. It is a muzungu rip off place. They want there 4 times more of you as from locals. But you could find here many locals on the beach.

- Police Check: Till 9 pm there is a police check on the bridge to mtwapa town from Mombasa. Much traffic and they will check (if you haven't luck) your passport. Take a photocopy of the passport with you.

- Haller Park: Not so special but a Place for visit and make a small safari / zoo tour. You could go in the north of the park with own entrance (opposite of cheers) and take a bicycle for a 7 miles tour around the parc. Good for the sport freaks like me .

- Fort Jesus: Not so cheap, but a good point for sightseeing in Mombasa town at daytime. After this you could visit the big market of Mombasa town.

- Mtwapa Creek Tital Zone: For People like more jungle adventures .

Misc:

- Use Uber, if you travel outside of mtwapa. It is cheap (2-6 Euro). For a ride to Mombasa and back in night use a driver which you know, because not safe trip (price 2000).

- Transport with Motorbike in mtwapa for 50 or 100 depends on distance.

- It is so hot. For me a room with AC was important.

- Transport from Airport Mombasa to Mtwapa for 2500.

- I have never found a gym in mtwapa with AC . Just in the Shoping Mall fare away and really expensive.

- VISA is not a problem. If you want to change money, change it by the money changer by cheers.

- I have some pictures (Hardcore, too) of girls. But sorry, not for public.

After 3 weeks in Kampala I arrived for another 3 weeks in Mtwapa here is random observations:

Good apartments full equipped for 450 per month.

The coast still sweet comparing to incredibly chaotic Kampala center.

Tourist police has moved from Posta as Mtwapa in June is more like a ghost town now.

Girls? What girls well, 95% are single Mom forfet a about the stunners from years back that flood the street.

Girls ask more money but very few can be taken for 500 since they have child and no choice.

If you remember the days that every girl can be taken to your room its over. They have high standard now. They will troll on thatsapp unless you offer some crazy price.

Casaurina. Empty all week but Saturday which fill with hard core or seme but single Mom. You don't want to look to their tits.

Yeah, you can get young girls without kids in the internet or with connections to other ones, very easy. Daytime. If not shy. Is possible, too. But yeah it is true in the night on the hotspots. But in my eyes the quality in Kampala is similar (two years ago).

A friend of mine just site down eagleNest bar and pick girls for 2000 per night. But beside that its finished.

All girls that came to the coast from all over Kenya stop to come and tourist are not here. Pirate beach is empty. December Christmas should be better I hope.

So the decline has exponential curve not linear over the years. But if you blind to quality and every girl is a candidate no matter how she look then you will get those single Mom.

Over all Kampala was better no comparison. The bars that burned opposite casuarina are open and full and along the road from posta to casaurina many street girls standing waiting for truck drivers etc. So in conclusion now in Jun everything dead here and there you can find girl with no kids asking crazy price or a few single Mom with finished body that you need to use your imagination to enjoy.

Last thing, my friend is much older then me and get a girl every night for 2 k but quality awareness is not his strong side. But even him admit its over. At least we agreed on something.

Next destination Manaus Brazil next week.

Mombie and Zimzam, thanks for the replies and helpful information. Bike rentals are way more expensive in Kenya compared to Thailand. In Thailand, I can rent a bike for a month easy for $100 US dollars. Mombie, you mentioned if I feel daring try Casablanca, are you suggesting this is a club catering for locals? In Thailand, the girls always call me a sexy man. However, in reality, I am middle age and an overweight white man. Will I be just as sexy in Kenya as I am in Thailand?
