I totally agree with this. On every board in every country there is the same old story about how things are not as good as the "old days". If you search back to the oldest posts they are still griping about how things are not as good as they used to be.

Life is way better now with a much greater range of options and technology. Yes bar girls cost more but now there are so many options out there now, way more than in the "old days". Who could imagine 30 or 40 years ago that you could fill up a mobile phone with contacts and basically just order like it is a menu. Some paid for some and some not.

There are many examples of confrontation. If the one you happen to choose is one of someone getting shot, then you can live in your world of extremes. Of course, there are tons of recent videos of girls on the street in Bangkok and Pattaya and even sometimes in the go-go bars posted on YouTube. I think those videos are going to give you a more realistic assessment of how the girls look in a given destination than photos posted here. As I've said before, I could easily show someone (or post here) a recent photo of a girl who would look like a stone cold 9 or even a 10 but who in real life looks and comes across no better than a 6.5 or a 7. I agree. The BKK Reports Forum should be about current issues and what is happening on the ground now. I do enjoy reading some of the better written descriptive reports on Thermae, for example, in the good old days, but their relevancy in today's world is minor. If you haven't barfined a Go Go girl in a couple of years, then basically you have very little to say on the current subject. You are just not up to date. A lot has changed in recent years and not all for the worse. Agency sourcing, for example, HAS brought in higher quality in certain bars.

I remember BKK in the good ol' days. I first came here in '89. And you can choose to believe me or not, up to you; I thought at the time that I had come too late! That the golden age for BKK was from the late 60's to the middle 70's before aids and condoms, ST & LT, the friggin' internet, and the Asian tourist hordes. So, my intel is current although not everyone will agree with my assessment and that is fine. But here is my lowdown: there are still plenty of hot, sexy girls (roughly 8 to 15% of the total) working in the better Go Go's. If you present yourself in a reasonable way and turn on your cognitive powers when making a choice, it is still pretty damn easy to find a great girl. I have not had one bad one this current trip and have added 2 new ones (BKK) and 1 new one (Pattaya) to my favorites list.

Thermae has been pretty good for me maybe because I am Asian. When I went on a Thursday night, there were so many girls outside as well as inside.
