Maybe real bottle stolen by housekeeping and replaced with same bottles with local contaminated hooch. Or most often guests doing easily available drugs. It is impossible for resorts to check every employee and also check guests for illegal drugs. I for one never used liquor taken from the room fridge. I usually buy at the duty free and bring my own.

Something is not rite. All the incidents can not be accidental. Now FBI is involved.
I would look harder at incidents of obvious violence. Then for a motive; robbery or sexual assault?

Couple found in room with fluid in lungs? Possible mix of alcohol and recreational medication, IMO. Anything stolen from room?

Woman beaten? Maybe low level criminal. In its own self interest, the hotel chain should be leading demands for solving the case. Will destroy business for them unless perp found.

Hopefully autopsies will be done, looking for source of (possible) poisoning.

IF they ever solve this, will be interesting to see. DR authorities will get all over this if they have a lick of sense. Will hurt their economy.

Well done, my friend! The country is teeming with beautiful bodies and spirits!

David Ortiz is the legendary Boston Red Sox slugger who earned his wealth legitimately through talent and hard work. He was shot by a common criminal. I wish him a speedy recovery.

    Milk of human kindness.

Two days back, I was eating at New Garden (the quality there has gone down the drain but I would eat that rather than the crappy and ubiquitous burger and steak; also the place was literally empty as a result of course) and observed something that is worth speaking of.

A young black man, early 30's or late 20's, came in and went where the pizza oven is and sat with a woman and ordered food. I did not pay much attention to that. After some time, the food came and he had ordered a pizza which is when I noticed a Dominican lad, straggling outside, came in, uncertain of himself, and whether he was even welcome and went to where the young man was sitting. The lad was asked to sit down next to the young man, who then proceeded to give him slices of pizza along with cutlery. The lad had some trouble managing the fork and knife (holding the knife with left and the fork with his right) and being in a formal mode. I looked at him, smiled to myself and hollared at him in Spanish, asking him to grab the pizza slice with his hand, just like the young man next to him was doing. The lad (and the young man smiled) and settled down and I said a few words to the young man in English acknowledging his act of kindness.

It is so easy to speak of the poverty and the thieving mentality of women, so much more rare to do something about it. The young man, from Chicago or perhaps NYC, was a prime example of such kindness. May his tribe increase!

Day 2 and 3 chicas lost they damn minds,

After an interesting first day in Sosua I wake up eat breakfast at new gardens (which is actually pretty good) and I get ready to head to sosua beach for the first time. Man they could smell yje gringo on me all the locals was trying to get me and my brother to buy everything LOL. Meet a couple badies on the beach and get there number for late night fuckery. So we hit the strip about 10 and these chicas have lost they damn minds. They quoting 60 70 and 80 bucks for a short stay and it was cats there paying that shit smh. I don't tell nobody how to spend they money but why overpay. Linked up with a old school cat who was telling me the weekend warriors go home tomorrow so the prices will drop. Sure enough Sunday those 80 mommies gladly took this 40 I was offering LOL. The ones who wouldn't budge from 70 were roaming the strip all night not finding any clients. So Saturday I only linked up with chicas from the beach. Sunday is when the chicas gather there sense back. Was talking to a guy in new gardens who was pissed because he gave a chica $100 for short stay thinking it would make his experience better and all she did was rush him and literally laughed when he complained LOL.

    Cabarete.

East of Sosua is Cabarete and Ocean Manor Resort which I highly recommend to take a special chica only $90/ night all inclusive (all drinks and great food all you can eat restaurant-style not buffet) great value and great swimming pools, great beach, quiet, private, great rooms. Staff / bartenders are good, too. You can also go horseback riding if you want. Salud!

Last year in Sosua. I try and lock up most thing. Hide the hair brush in a drawer. Ear bud in sock.

But the girl got my contacts. Never thought a girl would be stupid enough to take contacts. Like my prescription is going to match. Wear regular glass most of the time. So I did not notice for a few days. But one more thing for the safe.
Mongering in a dirt poor country always has it's minor irritants, mosquitos, petty crime, torrential rains, frequent power outages, hot water scarcity, even as a poster complained here recently, not enough towels. Bringing a stranger off the street into your room, always carries a slight element of risk!

On the other hand it offers desperate uneducated young beautiful women widely available to all, at bargain prices.

You can't have everything in life! LOL.
