Well straight off, down in the basement of the Federal is a spa / brothel. I went there last year but found it a bit mechanical and grotty. Out on the street are various workers who will approuch some are more desirable than others. Wechat is handy along with all the other apps. I'm sure others can give you more information and details.

Not all of us are high-flying executives from half way around the world. Plenty of local or regional punters flying into KL on Air Asia for $30, lah!

Personally, I don't think that in our hobby we're NOT getting what we pay for, especially in scenes like Malaysia where decent service is NOT the norm. Better 80 RM for a basic quickie at ACE, which occasionally turns out nicer than expected, than 800 RM at Beach Club for what often ends up being a disappointing quickie too, albeit with more overhead (taxis, your hotel etc).

Regarding looks, more expensive places usually get a higher number of better lookers, but you can always judge for yourself, and presumably only pick ones that appeal to you. Finding a diamond in the rough can be fun, more fun for me than finding what turns out to be a nicely made up bushpig in the relative glitz (but to each their own). As an aside, some nationalities are only available on the low end.

As for the number of clients, every WG has seen 1000's upon 1000's of dicks. At their level, it doesn't really matter if they average 8 per day or 3 per day. We're not talking Lamborghinis here anyway, but either a Proton for $20 or an old Toyota for $200, both with huge mileage.

What industry are you in? Software engineering or legal? I'm California as well and know big tech companies and top law firms pay interns about $5,000 to $7,000 per month, but most industries don't. Even at that pay rate, the net is about $3,500 to $5,000 after taxes.

I met lots of guys from the US whose companies flew them on business class and put them up in 4-5 hotels, but didn't want to spend a lot of personal money. You got to consider high cost of living, taxes, and family to support.

No need to criticize others. Each to his own.

    I am in Europe.

I said "net", having deducted everything. In USA, the monthly salary is ultra-gross, because one has to pay taxes, health insurance, retirement investment funds. The last two are not mandatory, but in Europe they are automatically deducted and shared between the employee and the employer. The good point is that if I fall sick and I cannot work anymore, I cannot afford an insurance anymore, whatever, still for all my life I can get say a heart transplant at the best hospital from the public health system without paying. Good luck in California if you need a heart transplant and you are POOR! I rather keep my lower salary, but at least I am safe.

You are overly optimistic. The travel budget allocated to an employee has little to do with his salary.

Flying someone from Europe to KL in Economy and paying his stay there for a week at a 4/5 stars hotel with good restaurants is about 1500-2000 EUR. Add 500/800 for Premium Economy (maybe via Singapore) or 1000/1500 for business. Total say 2000-3500 USD.

If someone pays 100 USD for a girl every night (actually more likely 150 with ongoing prices at BC / TC), in one week is 700-1000, which proportioned to one month is 3000-4500 USD/month. Most engineers I know who are sent overseas for meetings or training are paid 2000-4000 USD montly net. I am not surprised that cheaper alternatives are considered by a few ones. Not everyone is so high level to be an executive or financial advisor.

Personally, I could not afford (or I would be irresponsible should I) to spend one week in KL drawing girls every night from BC, or even worse in Singapore going every night at OT, but I move to Batam instead of going to ACE. I spend less and enjoy more!

    To EXSPAT:
Yes, the reason I was digging Chowkit 10 years ago was not to save money but exactly to feel that special thrill!
Said all this, I stay away from ACE and Petailing.

If guys with such a paycheck go usually with 300 $ hookers, maybe it's a special kick for them to pay 20 bucks / shot in a rundown cubicle. Just a guess.

    Geez are they that cheap

Plenty of Bangla and Indian guys at Ace. The place is grotty, but there are no safety issues as long as you pay, and move along when instructed by the friendly mafia guys. They don't want trouble any more than you do. At Ace, I like that you deal directly with the girls, and that you can sit (or stand) and gawk as long as you want.
It's still tempting to take a look, though given the facilities and attitude I almost never care to partake.
No massage in either of these places.

99% of today's readers are probably not understanding what is the surprise on the other side of the glory hole, but I like this camaraderie among oldest KL diggers and ISG posters in this thread.
