Penny Black is actually quite a cool place. It is a nightclub focusing only on Hip-Hop music. So if you are into this spesific music genre it is actually one of the best in Bangkok. !

I never even knew this place existed. One thing I always find lacking in BKK is late night clubs compared to Pattaya. The clubs all close early.

Is there any other good late night clubs these days? Whats the best club to find hotties nowadays in BKK? I know of Mixx, levels, and Insomnia but they haven't given me the best of luck so far.

I used to love Climax. That place was always good for a pickup. I had quite a few fun nights in Bangkok Beat before it closed. Was more of a MILFy crowd in there but sometimes you could find a gem.

Penny Black is actually quite a cool place. It is a nightclub focusing only on Hip-Hop music. So if you are into this spesific music genre it is actually one of the best in Bangkok. The entry downstairs to Penny Black has a bar and also now has outside seating. Nice place for people watching but very small. First floor is a newly remade pool bar. Second floor is a Karaoke bar. Third floor is the nightclub. Above is a short time hotel, but I never tried it. All venues has been updated recently with very nice decor in urban style. So all in all this complex is a very cool part of Soi Cowboy, but it is hard to see from the outside. All venues are owned by the same owner that operate Long Gun and Cactus. The nightclub gets going from 2-3 am and is popular by go-go girls after their work. Some nights can be really good here and the place is packed. I personally can not stand most of the music in go-go bars. I like classic rock from the 60- and 70's. But for some weird reason I am into Hip Hop! Combined with lots of sexy girls some nights this is one of the best nightclubs in Bangkok for me. Compared to Therma it is heaven!

Thanks for the update on this place, 10 years back when the place opened I stayed there for a day and night prior to leaving for an early morning flight back to the USA They had a promotional rate something like 700 baht, the place as noted was small but the room was really nice and decorated well still remember the night I spent there with a girl I met at Annie's a real gem and stunner a night to this day I still remember and dream about. Last year, walking around Soi Cowboy I dropped by out of curiosity old time sake and keeping options opened what the prices for rooms noted I believe 1500 baht nothing mention about them being ST rooms, and did noticed the club.

Whenever I visit Bangkok I usually stay around the Nana Area out of old habits which is at the Nana Hotel for one reason alone in the old days the Disco, which got going around 1 AM, the place was packed with freelancer easy to just take the elevator to your room sounds like Penny Black might be something very similar today which is something to check out but the drawback can I stay up that late? Boy how things have changed?

I did think one of your ex GFs was really nice to talk to and desirable, but seems you left her. Ha ha. Can't recall her name now. Hidden drawbacks I guess.

She was not only staring and smiling, she had to crane her neck from where she was sitting and look behind her, back in our direction to keep giving you goo-goo eyes. LOL. That is why I noticed her. I don't remember her too specifically except that I thought she seemed more in line with what is on offer at Thermae rather than what is typically seen standing on Soi 4. And I can't say I have seen her in either venue or location since a week or so after we saw her at Thermae. Maybe she tried to hold firm to her likely 2,500 baht Thermae rate on Soi 4, got discouraged and decided to take it online.

Yes, it would have. It's common for girls to have a different price in different venues.

In Pattaya it's especially common for the same girl to ask 700 on Beach Road and substantially more on Walking Street or in the discos.

Reminds me of a place I mongered in many years ago (can't recall where) where I would enter the establishment and the girls would come up to me saying "promotion, promotion" and would state the price which they claim was a reduced price. It was their sales pitch.

Saw that girl in Thermae again last night. Aside from her and a handful of others, have to say Thermae's line up about 10:30 PM was one of the worst in terms of looks alone I have ever seen. I used to doubt or think it was an overstatement when guys said they could not find anything worth taking from Thermae on a given night. But last night would have been one of those nights for me. .

I left Thermae many times empty handed. I would do the circuit and mentally note maybe 2 or 3 girls, but then would fail to get any of them. They would show zero interest or be taken by a Japanese guy very quick and lively. Clearly I was not picking really average looking girls. When I did get a girl, possibly more average looking, they proved unsatisfactory one way or another: surgeries, restrictions, dick scared, or disappointing body (hidden by clothing). Poor luck, or just a guy in the wrong place? Need to improve my selection technique clearly. "Girly can you just strip off for a moment first, give me a big tongue kiss and assure me you are desperate for extended time Farang cock?"

Maybe Thermae is a place where we need to see which girls want us the most, and then decide if they are doable or not. Not really my style. Plenty of chubby or average girls giving me the look, but I did not bite.

Clearly I am too slow to choose. Other guys work fast.

Kazy Kozy has opened in place of Old Dutch. Kozy upstairs will not open until Kazy has too many customers. Seems it is really the same business.

If you are a guy that used to like Crazy House a few years back, then I think Kazy can work for you. It is already superior to CH for me, by the standard and types of the girls, more natural girls less surgeries.

I don't like the time wasted by running shows though. Kazy is not as good as CH when it first opened.

So were you at Kazy or at Kozy? Kazy is the downstairs bar and Kozy is the upstairs bar. Different management apparently from what I was told by the staff, and possibly totally different styles. Kozy upstairs was reported to try to attract Asian customers like upstairs at Penny Black.
