Hey guys. So I need some advice. This trip is coming up very fast (July 16th) and its caught me off guard. I'm going to be there for 2 full months but I haven't found a place to stay yet. I'm looking at airbnb and homeaway but the prices seem to be shifting around a lot on the same listings. And they are exorbitant. Also, nobody wants to lease for as long as I want to stay. This has left me feeling discouraged. I don't even know if I might be in a jam with the airline yet for baggage fees. Is this city one big brutal tourist trap? Is this place really worth it, or am I better off cancelling?

To find apartment in Kiev I use dobovo.com, as airbnb but only ukrainian. I think it's better than international service.

Couple weeks ago I ran into two Italian men riding down an elevator from Avalon Terrace together. PM me if you were one of them please.

Two months is a long time. They are probably scared you will cancel and then their summer bookings are ruined. If you are in full mongering mode, why stay in the same place for two months?

Split it up and you can meet girls in different areas and if you happen to put your dick in crazy. She will not be able to find your new place.

I just did a search on AirBnb for July 26-31 for entire apartments for $20-$50/ night. Tons of places. If you are a beginner, better to only book at most two weeks in advance (one week better), since place might be a disaster. Moving every week no big deal if you pack light. Worst comes to worst, you have to spend one night sitting in a park bench because some place screws up your reservation and you can't find a hotel. It's summer and mild temps. Sitting outside no problem. Try you get an apartment walking distance from center of city if you are a beginner.

Most important thing is to have spare ATM cards (I have 5 bank accounts myself), plenty of crisp foreign currency ($ or euro) in case all the ATM cards break, spare smartphone in case primary breaks. You can always buy new phones for under $200, but limited English abilities with salespeople.

Just google apartment to rent in Kiev. There are many providers. I used to use apartments but also tried others and was happy with the service. Don't stray far from Kreshatik.

I was there for just 4 days in early June. I only had time to see one of my regulars twice (she bought a friend the second time, who is now in her independent rotation for next time) and two new finds. The two new girls were very nice, and only 19, and will likely see one of them again. One of them seemed to me too much of a professional. For those heading to Kiev now: my impression after recent departure that after student girls have finished classes and exams, talent at the agencies and apartments became limited.
