2 Love Motels in Laureles specified that every person is required to have a Colombian cedula in order to rent a room from them. They weren't interested in my passport. They were also rather rude by Colombian standards.

My opinion is that this is part of a push back against sex tourism.

BTW, if I want a good motel, I go to Ibiza at Itagui, and they never asked my ID until 2 years ago (last time I visited).

You haven't been to LA 70 recently apparently. I've been staying here a week. I haven't see a single American, almost no white people, maybe a handful of Europeans (Less then 10 total in a week) It seems to be a bar area for locals.

Who said you can't discuss Hotel M? Not much to discuss. Not much changes, but you're welcome to discuss it.

When were casas the only option in Medellin? I'm pretty sure the street walkers have been there for a very long time. Some of the individual streetwalkers look like they've been working the area for 30 years.

I got home from Medellin last night and didn't visit a single brothel. I considered it but just didn't see any reason.

If you read the forum you'll find about 3,000 posts talking about Facebook girls. Add in another thousand or so talking about Colombian Cupid, Seeking Arrangements and Tinder. Then there's strip clubs, escort services, bar girls, free Lancers.

I chatted with the Kuboz reception yesterday and they wrote back that an American passport meets the ID requirement. But JJBee4 posted that they would not rent a room to him. Is it the chicas ID that is causing the problem or is it the American passport? Is policy being enforced arbitrarily?

In the meantime I was cruising Mileroticos yesterday in preparation and it seems that new erotic places are opening since last August. The Blue Room seems to have upgraded. I think it was closed for a time. It is open 24 hours now.

Kuboz did not even look at IDs. They asked if everyone had a Colombian cedula. Both girls said yes. I said I had my passport and the girl at the desk said only a Colombian cedula was accepted. Both girls were dressed conservatively because they had come directly from their job in a retail store.

Well, I tried. Apparently answering your questions and posting photos of the flyer that is being handed out at Motel Ibiza violates some obscure site rule, because the post has either been blocked by one of the admins, or abducted by aliens.

This confirms what Knowledge said in his post.

It makes you wonder what kind of pressure is being put on these Motels to turn away business for them.

So it's okay for the Colombians to use these two Love Motels, but not foreigners who don't have Cedulas but Passports.

Somebody with a lot of political power in Laureles has really come down hard on these Love Motels.

And for these establishments to also be rude about it as well is astonishing given that Colombians generally are very formal and polite.

There's at least a couple of the short time motels on Veracruz that do and have been checking Cedulas for a while.

Also, got turned away by a few motels in el Centro with my Venezolana, because she only had a Venezuelan Cedula.

My experience with Cedulas in El Centro has been as follows:

If you want to rent a room short time, and the Chica you are with looks young, they typically will ask to see the Chicas Cedula. I have had this happen to me on numerous occasions, even with some of my regulars who are thirty.

At Hotel Zona Rosa about six months agp, reception actually took a photo of one of my Chicas Cedula because the police had come by one time and alleged that the Hotel was allowing Chicas in that shouldn't be allowed due to their apparent young age which wasn't the case.

I think I'm going to call them since I speak Spanish I'll make it crystal clear what my intentions are and make it very clear my business goes else where if there's chica fees involved or if its a hassle for them to accommodate. Also if anyone has a definite chica friendly hotel that's nice and checks IDs please help a brother out.

I just booked at Hotel Torre Poblado. Hope its chica friendly I'm sure it is it was recommended to me by a FB girl. Any board members traveling to Medellin the last week of August and want to link up. I should be getting my membership in a day or so I'm fluent in Spanish hmu.

A couple of the better motels out there, yes, on Veracruz, which have nicer rooms, and can be rented for 3 hours, do require a cédula from the girl.

Seems you have not been reading the forum. Most reports here do not talk about going to brothels. Most talk about freelancers. Why would you want to discuss Hotel M since that is pretty much a brothel and you said you hate brothel sex?

In my 4 trips to MED in the last 2 years I have only been in Casa's like twice. I hit the street chicks and strip clubs, find a couple I like and meet them later after a test drive for dinner and my hotel fun.

I do peek in Yakuza which is sort of a Casa but always take the girl across the street to my hotel.
