Perhaps I'm not searching the forum properly, but I'm not finding any reports on topshanghaimassage.com. Anyone have any experience with this site? Reliable, good value? Seems like it could be an alternative in Shanghai during those times when the MP's and bars are shut down.

You can easily find some excuse for not stay in your own apartment, such as noise, no hot water, AC not working well, etc.

Got in Shanghai and heard from locals about the crackdown, but that new and old places are opening. Would love for recommendations. I did RTFF but some local places seem hard to find on google maps. So would appreciate directions.

I'm thinking of either spas or outcalls to a 4/5 star hotel.

A local said he knew a place where its about 300 for a good time. You guys think that's trustworthy? It sounds a bit low but could be a steal, what do you guys think?

In my opinion, it is better you book the 4/5 star hotel, then let they come in because your are entitled to stay there legally. Not the other way aroound.

Agree. Book a room yourself. I book 5 stars with a large lobby. No one would even pay attention when I walk in with a lady. Having said that, I do think (but I do not always think with the right tool) that it is not worth the hustle any more unless the whole thing provides additional thrill to you. Catch me if you can?

I am living in China for more than 15 years, you are taking a lot of risk just for having some sex. The hotels need a special licence to accept foreigners. Booking a room and not sleeping there is at high risk for me. Small advice better you find some girl friends and having fun in a more restricted circle, you never know what can happen.

Traveling in a few weeks. Seems that J and be are back in business. My little hottie from HCMC, who stayed with me in my hotel during the troubles, she is there and waiting. Usually when I get from the airport, she will be at my hotel within the hour and for there will not be much conversation when we meet again. She works at J, but indicated on wechat that business was not good, from her perspective. Probably the places are loaded with Vietnamese ladies and, she is in her 30's, the younger ones get pole position. We will meet about 3 times, have dinner and go to a show, or football, nice to have her company. As a foreigner, I've never been allowed to book a Hanting Hotel. And I don't think foreigners are allowed the hourly access and rates anyway. However, there are plenty of other cheap hotels (such as Ji Hotel, 268 Motel, Ibis Hotel) that go for about 200-300 rmb for overnight stay. Surprisingly, the Highton Hotel next to the Hilton Hotel has an overnight rate of about 330, and it's a pretty good hotel, but the location sux because it's almost in the middle of nowhere. Finally, I wouldn't try asking the girls to book the ST hotel. These days, girls do not want to do it, because they do not want a bunch of ST hotel bookings on "their permanent record" and it's not 100% easy for us to sneak into these hotels because they are very small hotels. One time, when I snuck into one, the front desk called the room and asked me to register. (I guess they had nothing better to do than to watch their security cameras.) I said I did not have ID, and then they asked for a bribe. So, I just took off. Another time, I was simply stopped from entering (the person asked me for my room key, and I didn't have one, and then he asked me which room I was going to and I didn't reply, and so he told me to go away). What I do these days is book a 4 star hotel for several days that goes for around 300-500, and then I meet a couple of girls each day. I never sleep there. I do this maybe about once a month or once every two months. It's a mongering stay-cation, LOL.

Hi! I have tried a couple of these girls too in these last months and I was lucky having a good experience. I decided to go for higher cost ones, one was 700 the other 1000 because I understood they live in compounds with foreigners too. That was the case for the 1000 but not for the 700 one. I went during the day in this last one and wearing a pair of sunglasess when going in. Nobody stopped me.

Not very happy of the apartments because they are a bit dirty and old, especially the bathrooms. And the best is when you have to dry from the shower: you can get a used towel by "who knows who used it" or a bunch of paper napkins that leaves you all the pieces of paper on you body. I hate that.

By the way both times I had fun, and the ladies were both very nice, pretty and I would say with good skills. I did not know they change apartment often. That's a surprise for me too.

I've done incalls to indies a bunch of times, both in Beijing and Shanghai. The main problem for many of us is that these girls mostly live in low-end complexes and so we (especially foreigners) stick out like a sore thumb as we walk around the complex looking for the right building (one time I was turned away by security, another time the guard yelled something at me and I just yelled some gibberish back and ignored him, and another time a guard just simply asked me my nationality (he said: nali ren? But yeah, I admit almost all guards do not care at all, but you also get the other residents staring at you, and finally, dick size is only half the reason why the girls are afraid of foreigners, the other more important reason is that they don't want their neighbors to see a white, black, or brown guy walking into their apartment, so you may get turned away by them. Incidentally, I didn't realize these girls move around a lot. That actually scares me even more. I used to think it was safe because I knew where they lived. Now that I know that they are mobile, that makes them less appealing to me. It means I could get beaten up by their guy friends and they can then disappear. Finally, I heard from someone who tried this and he said none was worth repeating with. I guess it would be fun if I had plenty of time during the day or evening, but I don't. Nonetheless, it's good that you reminded us of this option. It's not for me, just like J and M is not for me, but I'm sure it's helpful to others.

Recently I have been rather inactive since my favorite providers have (temporarily?) left town and my new contacts proved just ok during the height of the crackdown (June 4th). But I checked the local website and just added around 10 girls for future play (will be out of town next month). Here some examples:

Now, this way of mongering requires familiarity with Shanghai and some Chinese skills is definitely helpful, but it can be done and be lots of fun. But you need to invest some time to find the gems, especially if you go for the lower priced girls. See also my earlier reports on some QQ/WC operational issues.

One thing to keep in mind is that the photos are ALWAYS heavily beautified and you can meet a 'different' girl when she opens her door and hopefully pussy for you LOL!

One crazy experience: went to see a new girl and after she saw that I am foreign (always try to keep that hidden when making the booking since the girls are afraid of 'size') she said that she first had to do a 'dick test' to see if I was not too 'big' LOL.
