Does anyone know if your entry fee to CJ's allows you to come and go for the entire night, surely they don't charge for re-entry?

Plan might be to stay at Mulia and take girls up for an hour quicke, relax and then go get another and then repeat as the night sees fit, however my master plan might fall apart if need to keep paying rentry fee?

Reason stay at hotel cause I am not looking for long time, want to do 2 or 3 a night in my own hotel room (dislike the tiny rooms Classic style) plus found most of CJs girls who up for ST don't want to go far.

So was going stay Mulia or Crown Plaza near by.

CJ's allows multiple entries per any given night to all its paying customers, but this policy does not apply to hotel guests since hotel guests have free complimentary access.

I also highly recommend the Fairmont Hotel which is very close to the Mulia in case you decide against the Mulia. The Fairmont is an equally fine 5 star plus hotel and cheaper than the Mulia even after adding in the CJ's minimum drink entry fee. Up to you. Both are great hotels.

I can only speak for myself, but I visited Bali for 5 days a few years back while working on Java. For my tastes, I found the women much, much better in Jakarta. I also found Bali to be a tourist trap. I suggest you consider a 50/50 split rather than 5 and 15. Just my 2 cents.

Many would say it's best to combine the two ie take a girl from Java / Jakarta with you to Bali.

I was in Jogja not long ago and met a young couple from Europe who were there "for the local experience". They had rented a little house for a month out in the middle of nowhere that had no air conditioning and no tv. For transportation, they rented a motorbike, and they bought food at the local market and cooked at home every night. Personally, I can't imagine a more boring way to spend a month, but they seemed to love it.

After reading the last 50 pages and paying special attention to your advices, I decide to expand the 3-day trip to 5 day and then to go to Bali. The idea was 2-3 days in Jakarta and 15 in Bali combining local girls, beautiful beaches and trip to all the interesting tourist places in Bali.

Is it safe for a solo 51 yo white guy to bus it to Bali? Sure I could fly, but I can't see much from 40000 feet.

I wouldn't, as pointed out earlier, the road incidents are the main problem. Drive down any highway a few hours out of Jakarta and you will see buses and trucks rolled over.

Eka Lorena's buses are some of the main offenders.

Combine trip rates, unregulated speed limits, early wakeups for prayers, heavy carbs 3 times a day, and a roadfull of bad drivers. And its like a scene out of Cars movie with the tractors dosing off.

For anyone who has been to KI, you will know the prices sit in the mid-high 300's.

You will also have noticed all bars (except Starmoon) play that annoying Kota dance music. Which incidentally cannot be fully appreciated without some help from the apotik, but that generally kills the hardon big time. Anyway I digress, they all feel the same and have the same ambience. Well that's because they are all owned by the same guy, except Starmoon.

So you get dodgy security, pushy mamasans, deafening music, and hit and miss experience.

Well, old boss man has decided to offer a premium service from the regular service mentioned above. With the soft opening TODAY of Mega Ayu. Its located in the first alley of KI and has a similar layout inside to the others. With less cigarette stains on the vinyl lounges. However the girls are the cream of the crop chosen from of all the bars there. And their price is at a whopping 705 rph.

I was privileged enough to view the merch on a pre-opening to the soft opening (how can there be a soft soft opening anyway? And can vouch they all are very cute and look like they haven't sucked on a lemon. As if often the case with the other bars.

So gents, if you feel like an upmarket experience, in a lowmarket area. Give it a try.

On another note, I'm curious to see if Malioboro hotel is an actual hotel with rooms you can stay in. I had always thought all rooms in that hotel were reserved for sex with the prostitutes they have in the place. I've never seen anyone checking in or out of that place with luggage.

Similar to the hotels Metropole (Pintu Besar Selatan) and Paripurna (Hayam Wuruk) in the old days. LOL.

The credo of the intercity bus drivers in Indonesia: berani mati (I don't fear the reaper) combined with the use of drugs they need for the long hauls they make without changing, should make you think twice.

BTW I hope you are not taller than 165 cm, otherwise you will have problems stowing away your legs!

Very strange. I just try to send them a message via contact form but I got the "There was an error trying to send your message. Try again later. " Then I sent them an email but got the "Your message wasn't delivered to info@maliohotel.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail. " So Classic will be.

But I will try Malio at least once. I read a lot of positive reviews on ISG and it seems like a place that must be visited while in Jakarta. But I did not find exact info about the price options, so can someone tell what future visitors can expect to pay about the girl plus the room? Also is there any spa packages that includes FS combined with the typical spa extras and what are the prices if there is that kind of entertainment? And yes, I guess that someone already wrote something about that but honestly I read more than 70 pages (and keep reading) and did not find specific price options. So please don't be rude answering "read the forum" kind of things, Jakarta forum is like 10 times the size of Tolstoy's War & Peace.

I would just stay across the street at Harris Vertu hotel.
