Specifically, having just spent 6 weeks in Bangkok and Pattaya before arriving in MNL, I found it very interesting to immediately sample the differences between the girls of both countries. I agree with Natty, Engine Driver and WC1 with the exception of I have no experience with the street girls. I live in Bangkok and travel to Makati for 4 night Wednesday to Sunday trips as a change of pace to Bangkok and Pattaya. I love the bars in Makati. I wanted to add a couple of exceptions to prior postings.

1. Barfine in Kojax is 3000 pesos.

2. I've only found girls to my spec in 6 bars so I spend most of my time there. Bottoms, Mirrors, Plan be, Kojax, Tickles and the bar across the street where you have to walk up some stairs to enter, I can never remember it's name. The smaller bars can have a diamond but timing is crtical because in my case they were always OPP. I have never tried a street girl on Burgos mainly because I go to Makati to party hard in the bars with the girls I choose. Most of the girls really like to dance and party.

3. I read someone say that you could eliminate the barfine by buying 10 lady drinks for your girl. I have only been able to negotiate a discount based on buying many drinks but never eliminated.

4. Kojax is the only bar that seems to cater to Koreans. You can barfine girls there but the Koreans get the VIP treatment when they walk in. Many times they come in Groups and order bottle service.

5. Natty good news on the restaurant front El Gaucho is opening a location in Makati a 2 minute walk from I'm hotel. They already have a hiring sign on the door so it should be open soon.

I heartily agree that one has to experience both Burgos Bar girls & the Burgos Street massage girls (SW's) and many times over to make any kind of accurate assessment of the situation. On my last trip I found the most attractive girls to be in Plan be & Kojax with Plan be the most improved bar since the time before I was last in MNL 9 months earlier. So I barfined an attractive girl out of both Plan be & Kojax each twice since they were such nice girls as well as looking great. I also hooked up with my two perennial repeat Bottoms girls 3 nights in a row without ever entering Bottoms or paying a barfine. They are always a lot of fun. And in addition, I met a sexy 19 year old FL in Royal Club and enjoyed a 2nd repeat performance with her too.

Interesting. I always thought Bottoms was the only one where Happy Hour applied to the girls rates. Hence, I never really regarded Burgos as an afternoon opportunity.

There were only 2 empty tables in the back of the bar (filled with 6 bikini-clad girls) for me to sit at. All the other tables were taken by guys already in party mode, multiple girls drinking LD's with one guy in each booth. Each guy had at least one girl sitting in his lap with her top off, making out. One of my regulars was on her way for LT and she asked me to meet her there so we could share a drink with one of her friends working there. Two girls were walking around naked. The place was in full party mode at 5 pm. A skinny girl with a wisp of a g-string bathing suite on was walking around. Sub-5 ft, scrawny and 65 lbs, she herself was not much more than the string thong. An American guy walked in and she ran over to him. He picked her up with one arm a good 12 inches off the ground, ordered a drink, and walked around with her for more than 5 minutes without letting her go, drinking with his free hand. THESE ARE THE DAYS.

Most bars that offer happy hour have half-price everything, from drinks to the barfine amount (p3900 becomes 1950). The girl's tip amount, agreed upon before departing the bar, will be the same amount (2-5 k) for LT, or if she wants ST she will drop the tip amount. You need to specify the length of time when barfining anytime, but especially during happy hour; you might be thinking LT while she's thinking ST. Dimples, Mirrors, and Bourbon all have the half-price happy hour.

Mirrors and Plan bee have mostly attractive girls. Dimples (and Hollywood bar towards Makati Ave) is the opposite; of 15-25 girls that might be working at any time, there are only a handful of attractive girls (4-6), and the rest might be age 30+ chubblies. There are real discrepancies between the bars.

Recently at another bar the age 40-ish fugly / chubby massage lady (outstanding hands) told me that she would BJ me in the private room for 2000 to the bar and 2 drinks for her. 5. Tips for waitress and mamasan = 100 PHP.

6. Dinner for girl after 1st pop = 1,200 PHP.

7. Girls payment LT = 4,000 PHP.

8. Girls taxi money = 200 PHP.

That makes a grand total of 10,380 PHP. In South Sea Pesos that's $346 or USD $207.

Unless you have been inside a Burgos bar, have bar fined a girl yourself and have spent a night with her, it is best for you not to jump to stupid conclusions like that. You are not just paying for a hole to stick your dick into. You are paying for the complete 5-star experience. It's worth every cent. In your case, you will need 350 South Sea Pesos at the current exchange rates to barfine a Burgos girl.

There certainly are attractive girls there but it's an exaggeration to say everyone is drop dead stunning. Also, different bars specialise in different types of girls. If you don't like the buxom girls in Bottoms, try PlanB where there are tall, slim girls etc.
3900 has been the BF for ages. You would be doing very well to get a girl out of a better bar for less than 3000 tip.
Options to cut down costs:
Get a girl's number and try to meet her the next day, out of work hours.
2nd tier bars are cheaper but you will be lucky to find any quality.
Bottoms has a happy hour BF early in the evening.

Seems right. Was there recently and most of the bars in that place was 4000 for barfine. Unless you buy the girls drinks then you cover the barfine after 10 rounds. So make sure if you are buying rounds it gets deducted off your barfine.
Fees for the girls vary, but paid 4000 for 12 hours (8 pm-8 am) for a girl from one of those bars.

Their shows are adequate. Your usual 3rd world shower and a toilet in 1 small crampt room, slightly on the dirty and scummy side.
