The Zona is safer since there is less places for the Ratero to hide. I have been in the Zona during the day in recent years and have not had any issues. But one should use due caution. The quality is the big downside of visiting the Zona during the day. Summers days in Tijuana are awful because there little breeze if any. I have heard that Kayla comes out during the day. The best thing to do is to constantly look and see who is behind you. They make these sunglasses with built in mirrors The have little mirrors that allow you to see who who is behind you without turning around. The only downside is that they do not work in the dark.

If you have to walk, walk near the curb. Just make sure you don't get hit by a car. Sometimes I walk right in the street but not advised. Stay away from the interior of the sidewalk where someone hanging out can grab you. I've been walking in Tijuana for years, never a problem. I do a lot less of it these days though.

This area is littered with chicas that give bad service so it's not worth the crossing. From the school girl's corner to the parking lot on Constitucion. I forget the name of that motel. There's only one chica that makes me head over there and if I don't spot her I move on. I'd be looking for trouble if I venture to this area cause you can spot the bad guys by the store and Michoacan. The other side looks safer and better chicas. Excluding the fat ones by el callejon.
