Yes, the stretch along Ratchadamnoen Ave from the old, yellow Royal Hotel across from Sanam Luang field to the Democracy Monument and the side sois in between can offer a treasure hunt worth taking for those willing to step away from all the usual comforts, standards and expectations of the tourist red light districts.

I used to live walking distance from there and sometimes delved so deeply into non farang areas there were neighborhood civilian "guards" in the street waving me back to prevent me from seeing what the music and party atmosphere was all about down there. Whatever it was, they REALLY did not want a farang who for all they know might be a crusading Christian NGO do-gooder looking to cause trouble for them seeing it.

But there were occassional line ups of girls sitting in folding chairs in front of apartment buildings here and there who were visible and accessible to me.

Don't expect beauties, but you might stumble upon a cute young girl or two "waiting for a bus" on that Ave or boulevard in the evening who thinks 500 baht for ST was a major negotiation victory for her. If she takes you to a nearby ST room, it will probably only cost you 100-150 baht. That's the good news. The bad news is it will be one godawful creepy broken down mess of a rat and roach infested dump.

Much better ST accommodations can be had if you take a taxi over the river bridge to one of the drive-in motels for around 300 baht. And some of those can be fun in a lurid, mirrored ceiling, disco ball in the shower kind of way.

Chinatown, streets around the traffic circle, Wong Wian 22, going rate 500-700. I was watching some youtube videos by Bangkok213 where he walks around Chinatown (3 June2019 video). Women appear old or skanky and he says they are 600 baht.

You first say it's easily doable and then launch into a litany of why it would be very difficult for the OP to find this type of arrangement. I actually agree with the primary negative part of your assessment and think he is wasting his time trying to set this up. +1 for the Philippines. Just go on to Pinalove or FilipinoCupid.

Note that finding travel partners will be exceptionally easy but moresomes with GG action are notorious for overpromising. I wouldn't commit to any tickets or extra accommodation until you had road tested them upon arrival in Manila or Cebu.
