Condom Fact Sheet In Brief
https://www.cdc.gov/condomeffectiveness/brief.html
... However, condom use cannot provide absolute protection against any STD. The most reliable ways to avoid transmission of STDs are to abstain from sexual activity, or to be in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner.
Also, I have noticed an uptick in testimonials and recommendations to "wank" on some of the other ISG Thailand threads. Therefore, perhaps now is a good time to mention this, too.
Male Masturbation: 5 Things You Didn't Know

2. Masturbation is not risk-free.
Sure, it's low-risk. It's the safest form of sex possible. No one ever caught an STD from himself or made himself pregnant. But like other low-risk activities (chewing, walking), it still has some risks.
Frequent or rough masturbation can cause minor skin irritation. Forcefully bending an erect penis can rupture the chambers that fill with blood, a rare but gruesome condition called penile fracture.
Khler has seen guys with it after vigorous masturbation. "Afterward, the penis looks like an eggplant," he says. "It's purple and swollen." Most men need surgery to repair it.

Immune system
Regular sex improves the immune system and prepares the body to fight off illness by releasing endorphins. This means that having sex less often might result in more frequent illnesses, like the cold or flu. A study reported that saliva samples of college students who had regular sex were found to higher concentration of certain antibodies called immunoglobulin A, which fight the common cold.

It's a tactile reality, sex when your dick is not wrapped in latex or polyurethane is more enjoyable for both partners. What woman prefers licking or sucking rubber to a length of smooth candy stick skin, even more so when she feels that same candy stick filling her up and pumping her sweet spots?
Most of us get that so why condoms. It's simple. Because there is a risk of contracting a STD. Some accept there is risk and however small choose to take that risk, other prefer to deny there is any risk using unreliable and often fake science.
When I hear "I've been barebacking all my life and never caught anything" I love to use the example of my dad who smoked a pipe all his life and lived without any issues to be 99. So what, smoking is not healthy and neither is BBFS.

Posts: 26I am happy to add some levity to the surroundings
Just a little about my background. Since I haven't introduced myself yet. Mostly I play in the US, but get to travel overseas occasionally. Primarily South & Central America, and Thailand. I've played in the land of smiles maybe five or six times, and hope to be back late this year, after an 18 month dry spell. I've done soapies, oilies, gogos, and the occasional FL. I've done OK, but I am never around long enough to get a good sense of the scene.
Stay safe and have fun, my friends and thanks for all the useful posts (and not so useful).

You see, she misunderstood the meaning of my question, "Are you OK to?"
I meant is she comfortable to have bareback sex with me. She immediately heard the question to mean is she as safe to have bareback sex with me as I am to have bareback sex with her.
It has happened with direct P4P girls and with regular, non pro girls I have met online or just around town.
There are definitely times when something akin to what you suggest is likely the case.

I wonder if some ladies might take it as an affront to their dignity if you demand a condom, thinking that you think they are dirty.

Did you notice when MongerForSex dismissed it as a heterosexual disease in part because of the "test" conducted in San Francisco? I don't know, maybe he was talking about a certain controlled test in SF. But he wouldn't have to be talking about that kind of laboratory test conducted by technicians in white coats.
There was another "test" conducted in free wheeling anything goes for both genders with partners of any sexual orientation San Francisco in the earliest days of our awareness of HIV/AIDS. When the maladies first began showing up, long before the stigma of it being a gay disease was attached to it and virtually every year since, I don't think they found even 1 or 2 verifiably heterosexual and only heterosexual non needle using males having contracted it from a female. And among gay men, it was almost exclusively found in those who preferred to be "bottoms". That is, those who generally receive anal sex rather than penetrate an anus.
If it was otherwise, why did we never hear of them, why did none of them step forward to issue warnings about catching it from women?
And on the final part of your story, what did you think the "worst of the intentions" of the girl were? That she was trying to murder you by giving you HIV into your penis from her vagina? Intentionally infect you with an STD? Or was it about wanting you to get her pregnant? Serious question. I am puzzled by what you meant.

Posts: 657Condom Substitute. . . Silver Gel prevents infection per STD doctor specialist
Per Dr. (Major) Vora, M. B B S. D. V. D, I. M. S. (R), silver gel prevents the spread of STDs. All his medical articles on STD prevention from his medical practice are posted on the STD Pioneer website. Examples include: "Efficacy of Colloidal Silver against both Gram Positive and Gram Negative Bacteria, Fungi (Candida) and other micro-organism" "Silver Nano Particles Can Kill HIV-1 Virus" articles.
Available for free download and review" FYI at http://www.stdpioneer.org/.
Dr. Vora: "he is 98 years old today and in fairly good health for his age. He spent his whole life in the promotion of awareness and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) / Infections (STIs) and AIDS. He is perhaps the oldest living person in the world having spent over 70 years in promotion of "awareness" in this field of Sexual Diseases. He went into Venereal Diseases right after his graduation in 1934. He was attached to the Department of Venereal Diseases of the Sir J. J. Hospital, Mumbai (Bombay), India in those days. ".

This being the safe sex board I think I could be forgiven for giving a little of my history for comparison sake. I started mongering in the early seventies when I first started working. For many years I was stationed in a Caribbean island. At that time condom full sex in the p4p world was non-existent. Back then I would get an std on average once a month. At first It would be treated by a doctor administering an injection. Some years later doctors started administering oral antibiotics and subsequently just giving prescriptions for the required treatment. It came to such that I would photocopy a doctor's prescription and take it to the pharmacy each time I became infected to cut out the middle man so to speak. When HIV began proliferating I was unperturbed as it was regarded back then as a gay disease.
My indulgence in BBFS occurred throughout the seventies and eighties. Then something happened. Magic Johnson got AIDS. That scared the shit out of me. I immediately got an AIDS test, it was the first STD test that I ever got in my life (1991). I would never forget the wait for the results, I was never so overwrought in my life. After it came back negative I vowed never to ever bareback a working girl again.
At first I had lots of difficulties using a condom. For the first time in my life I experienced not being able to get it up. I had difficulty cumming and I was in my thirties. Eventually I got accustomed to using a condom. Since then I have actually contracted STDs on very few occasions only in China and the Philippines when the condom broke or when finding myself without one took a chance being too lazy or horny to go buy one with the girl being with me in the room.
About ten years ago something weird happened and from that time I always use a condom no matter what the situation. I visited this brothel in the Caribbean and chose a particular girl. I usually walk with my own condoms but as fate would have it did not have one on me. The girl did not have one either and there was none in the brothel. However, the papasan sent someone to buy a few. In the room we proceeded with the session with DFK and BBBJ. With me hard the girl said BBFS is ok. I resisted and said lets wait on the condom. This girl tried every which way to get me to fuck her bare back and I used all my will power to desist. She cajoled, pleaded and demanded but I was having none of it. After what seemed as an eternity the condoms arrived. I put one on, entered her and after no more than two minutes she wanted no more and left the room. I explained to the papasan what happened and he gave me another girl for a reduced period of time.
I have thought the worst of the intentions of this girl ever since that incident; I have rethought the encounter many times and have not concluded otherwise. Since then I have always used a condom and have never contracted an STD.
