Good post DC Gogo. I think the guys are too selfish to ever unionize. Hot Latin pussy makes guys lose common sense. I've chosen to stay ahead of the big spending weekend warriors by scouting out other spots off the beaten paths where these jokers will never venture. Shit, I know guys now that pay girls monthly to stay out of Sosua LOL. One guy brought his girl a nail salon in Puerto Plata for 1500 usd a month to only later find out she was also giving massages in a back room. He forgave her and now pays her to stay home and away from Sosua. How can I compete with that? Guys are using the saying ' Its my money and I don't want you telling me how to spend it'. I would have never said that to my uncles as they taught me the DR ropes 10 years ago. Recently I went to a local spot to eat with two wingmen and the meal came to 6 usd, each person. This joker left a four dollar tip on a 6 dollar meal because the waitress was cute. He was just smiling at the girl and being big a big shot, now the girls will expect such high propinas. I tried to explain this to him but he didn't care and called me a hater. Oh well, now I got to break away and let him learn.

With the internet now in full bloom, places are exposed for mongers rapidly and its a free fall. Sosua and the DR taking a hit, Medellin now facing a growing problem, and Brazil on the slow come-up.

Its going to be interesting watching the Sosua loyalist have to make adjustments as Sosua changes. Looking forward to seeing those guys in other spots making new adventures. Shit I had a five year Sosua fix myself so I understand giving up our first travel love.

On my first trip to the DR, I was THAT monger. The one who had saved up waited almost a year, traveled 2000 miles for a week in what was to me paradise. I spent money on chicas left and right. I remember me and my wingman were pulling them walking in front of our hotel, we didn't even make it to the strip until late that night or maybe it was the next day.

I think the lowest I gave was 2000 pesos but others were getting 3000. I remember one night we brought back 6 chicas and paid each 3000. In our mind it was still way cheaper than what we were used to in the DC and LA areas where we were from. Fortunately between RTFF (big ups to Mr. E, GoGo, OldKool, Grownman and everyone else) learning more Spanish, and talking to others on the ground we learned.

Now to my point. Two of those chicas from my original trip I still stay in contact with. Again on that 1st trip I was giving them 2000-3000. I now offer them 1500ST or 2000 TLN, even though I have others that are cheaper or "free", meaning I'm still paying for food and drinks and will give them a regalo or two that I brought with me, we'll play music, we dance with them and generally treat them like a gentlemen. Some will say "that's wrong" you set a precedence you have to pay them the same amount that you started with. Why? It's my money and it's their choice. Also one is now on the wrong side of 30 but is still very attractive.

As Mr. E has said many times, we are in charge of our money not the chicas. If she doesn't agree or if she hesitates move on. This is a lesson we all have to learn. When I first offered the younger one 1500 of course she balked because she was used to getting like 2500 from me. Let me add that I didn't invite her over and then tell her 1500, I told her via whatsapp what I would give her. A couple of days later she asks when she can come over. I reminded her of how much I was going to give her, she says no problem and has been getting 1500 plus a regalo ever since with no complaints. With the older one, she text me about 4 pm I told her I would give her 2000 TLN if she came over now. We could have dinner, drinks maybe hit up a club, basically have a nice evening. She countered with 2500 I said "no" 2000. (I know I would've spent more than 2000 with food and drinks but that's not the point) She says maybe later, and I said maybe if I'm not busy. I know she's hedging her bet, hoping to get another date or two and still see me later, which is cool with me. Make your money baby. I see her later that night sitting in the bar, alone, looking thirsty both literally and figuratively. I see her off and on throughout the evening and night at the different bars but never approach her as we've already had a conversation. Eventually at about 2 am she texts me but alas I already have a chica. She hedged her bet and lost. While she is still very attractive, she is a darker dominicana like many of the Europeans like but she is thicker than most of the Haitianas I've seen them prefer. I've only seen her with the bros and they're were'nt many in town.

On my next trip will I have to move from 1500-2000 to 2000-2500? Maybe, maybe not but either way I will still remember first and foremost that I am in charge of my money and how and on whom I choose to spend it. If the chicas have evolved and "unionized" we need to evolve too and let the law of supply and demand rule.

Good point E. Yesterday my cousin called and one from Santo Domingo. I told him you called for this girl so now you have to decide on what you're going to do. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time with her, as soon as she get here take it to the room get a session, give her money, send her own away. She's investing her time and money to come see you. And you ask her to come.
She's prepared to stay all night with you. If you don't want that all night pay her 2500 or 3000 depending on her performance. 2000 is normal but since you had her transported to you you have to pay more. I am currently abroad and away from Sosua. Occasionally, I turn on my chica DR phone to say Hi to my "regulars". They all ask when am I coming back. I never give a definitive answer, except to say I will let them know. It helps in avoiding any requests for bringing back shit. But my point is, each time I travel and come back, I let each know that I'm back. Eventually they all initiate making it their business to come over. I'm thankful for the guys that have taken care of them while I was gone. Maintaining them sexually and financially while I am out of the rotation. Why is it your friend hasnt seen his "regulars" when he comes back to the sue?

I agree with you. They're always has been a war / Unity between Unionized Chica and weekend warriors. It's a never ending relationship that takes place inside the club. I for one, rarely deal with chicas from the club though I love the scenery. I don't remember the last time I was actually picking a new girl from the club.

However, The current circumstances require immediate adjustments. IMHO The average or below average weekend Warrior is going to have to deal with the club chicas. If they want to deal with a high concentration of choices. There's nothing on the street and the union knows it. I think it's a combination. It could be hard times. And it could also be just business, maintaining ones contacts. I think chicks get off on having regulars (for income/benefit purposes) just as much as we do (for sex purposes).

What you say is quite correct. However that mainly applies to certain mongers. For others they can and have adapted. Take me. When I return to Sosua, Imma connect with established contacts. My roster has evolved over the years, with enough that have dropped off, and others replaced them.

With this roster, I will have connected with all of them within 10 days to 2 weeks. If I wanted to try some new talent, I could use several different dating sites to score more talent as a backup. There are hundreds of them ready to get with a guy on vacation. Thats exactly what any invested monger could be doing before he gets to Sosua, without relying on the Clubs. So essentially, all it takes is some effort on a mongers part to not pigeonhole himself into only relying on Clubs and bars. Thats one way to help take away some of that home court advantage Club chicas have. I personally already am doing my part because I only go to Merengue when hanging with other dudes, and never go to the clubs. When I'm not hunting, I just enjoy chica watching. I'm not thirsty.

I hope this is another phase in the history of SOSUA. Hope it improves by November which is planned trip. Sosua businesses are geared toward prostitution. Hence town itself cannot survive if the authorities shut it down.

Live in the bar downstairs from Classico. Place is not pack. Walked right up and my favorite seat at the bar was empty. I now see many more guys. At 1:26 am and no crowd to get in Classico.

It's about 4 to 1 IMHO.

The streets were basically empty. I actually miss the scene. You could pull some easy diamonds in the rough or fresh Haitians. That's done! (for now) IMO The lack of chicas helps making the asking price higher. It was hard to demand more money when the chicas were everywhere and would cut throat each out.

The new move is for the chicas to group together and ride around in cars or motos. The police don't harass the cars just chicas walking. I seen may 7 to 10 different group of chicas.
