Just anxious about making the most out of my time there (and not getting ripped off of course).

Nothing to be anxious about. All sauna prices are a rip off if you only count the FS. But if you count the quality of the line up, lounge, spa facilities and inclusive food and drink it's not so bad. Think of it as a very expensive lousy meal with "attentive" service on the side.

If you believe the reports the real rip off is 18 Sauna at the Golden Sauna. Everyone is on the take.

Don't overthink your trip and stay flexible. Otherwise you will ruin your own trip.

If you are scared and want to experience a girl-free lounge with little pressure for massage then start at Beverly. It's a gentle introduction but not the best of anything. If you think you might be too shy to call for a line up then try Nobre because the line up is in the corridor away from the lounge. Or go to Golden because the service girls approach you. Only the Viet and non-model Chinese will approach you. The super expensive ones stay in the back.

Golden also has interactive shows for everyone Thur thru Sat maybe Sun if its busy. Evenings only, times vary. Usually you've just missed one. East has also interactive shows for everyone maybe every night. Nobre shows are for VIP only. Rio and Emperor just have line ups. If you're new to saunas and don't speak any form of Chinese then you won't get the pick of the girls in a line up or after a show. So pick about 20 min before you think there will be a show. Once the show has been advertised by changing the lightning or music you probably can't ask for a line up.

All saunas are crazy busy weekends. They are all 24 hour but the line up is minimal from 6 am to 2 pm. Maybe only 2 to 4 girls.

Then go for the ones who make eye contact with you. You should do that anyway. I don't know if it's possible to tip anyone except the ones who hand you the 1970's robes. You write the amount on a piece of paper and it gets added to your bill.

They are very skilled at hitting the brakes just in time. In some cases they will let you on the third consecutive massage. But that makes for a VERY expensive HJ.

Probably an overpriced minor disappointment or maybe something a bit better than you expected. It's a role play. Get in the swing. Jump in with both feet. Say yes to whatever the lady offers. Otherwise you're not getting value for money. But don't fantasize about it in advance or you might be disappointed.

It might take you more than one session to get into it. Also some of the ladies don't make use of the full toolkit. So do two AV sessions. Pick a Viet for one and a non-model Chinese for the other. I don't think the super expensive models do AV anyway.

Headed to Macau next month for my first time and am very excited. I've read through the threads / forum, and still have some questions.

I am a Westerner, a little apprehensive but excited to check out 5-6 Saunas.

1) Do they accept cash, or only Credit Card. I know they keep track of everything you buy and charge you ate the end, but is there a service charge as well? Do you tip then? Do you tip as you go?

2) I know Cleanliness is VERy important, but I also know that I am going to probably deal with some Western Discrimination. I have a beard, and I also heard providers may not like that. But, if I do not know Chinese, bit am wiling to pay top dollar after the "shows" to get the higher end girls, will tipping managers help?

Why are you planning to visit HKG for 8 nights? If you have a reason for going other than getting laid or being a tourist ie a business purpose, postpone it, or government purpose, so be it, just keep yourself abreast of the political situation and be prepared to change your plans at a moment's notice. It could get real bad there fast and at any time.

But, If you are going to HKG for primarily mongering purposes, ie recreational reasons, then I strongly advise you to reconsider. 1st, now is not the time to visit. And 2nd, even if a crackdown was not imminent, HKG sucks as mongering destination and has for some time. In fact it is one of my least favorite girly destinations in all of Asia. Macau, on the other hand, is great, albeit expensive and both MNL & BKK are much more entertaining and fun alternatives than HKG. The last time I was in HKG, approximately 10 months ago, I could not believe how bad the girly situation had become there. I checked out the most popular bars in Wan Chai and all the girls except maybe 1 or 2 were undoable, fat, old, and fugly! Don't go! But if you do go, don't say you were not warned.

100% agreed. Living since long time in Dongguan / Shenzhen area I always loved to go to HK for a few days. As Natty wrote, HK 2019 isn't anymore HK 2009 or 1999 reg. Mongering and girls in general. While there had been still some places where you can go for mongering, the current political situation isn't fun. I'm awaiting that countries will raise travel warnings for HK soon. I was now three times trapped in protests (at HKIA, Wanchai and Prince Edward), and believe me -even I fully understand why people are angry and was they want to fight for- I'm going to avoid to be involved in which way ever into a HK protest.

It has my last day in Macau, and I was leaving that afternoon. Since the passionate but peopless experience with my China girl, I really wanted to have sex and pop one last time before leaving this paradise. However, most of the saunas have nobody in the mornings.

I decided to go to Darling 1, as I heard it does business 24/7 and I still remembered the hot women the other time. It was located in the Masters Hotel, pretty far away from the other saunas. The building wasn't anything nice to look at.

China Girl Long Time

After arriving in the hotel room, I offered her some Portuguese egg tarts that I'd bought, but she wasn't interested. She undressed. My final sauna was at Golden. I'd heard that the ladies walk among you talking to you first and looked forward to it.

The sauna was smaller and cozier and located in an independent building just a few minutes away from Rio. All the saunas are actually located in walkable distance actually. The first thing I noticed was that it had a lot more people. There were dozens, compared to the fairly empty places I'd been to before (probably because it was Friday).

When I entered, I was immediately accosted by a plump and sadly ugly lady, who tried to hug me. I dodged the hug and went to the seat (she glared at me later after my session).

I saw some people getting baths in seated showers and tried it out after awkwardly moving to the showers and being conspicuous.
