Sad what China had and now is gone, I missed the sauna best days but experienced some of NL, SNL and of course Rain's girls. Reports mostly posted on that HK site, can't remember if I posted here. Also had some notable independents; HousewifeBaoBao, BeverlyJones, Mimi, Hujing and many other some hot, some forgettable and also many Wechat nearby, and CL hits and misses.

My take is China was only unique in the Sauna hey days and now not any different in price and quality to anywhere else and far more expensive and dangerous than HK or other hotbeds.

Why Rain gets so much attention, she kept a internet site and advertised but as others posted I dropped her as she is a crazy, there is a long review of someone who did overnight with her, enlightening for those that are curious.

This time, the website is a bit discreet, offering massage services rather than escort services, but the fact that she's back to using her same old wechat ID and same website URL makes me think she's either crazy, or she's working with LE, or it is LE. Not worth it.

Rain has 2 Wechat's she's using now plus another one that she posted about, posted asking people to get in touch with her as it's her private / personal Wechat. That's kinda sketchy. Plus she's deleting WeChat posts pretty quickly.

I've known Rain a long time and have used her girls and even her. (last time was 2015) She is more than a little paranoid which is understandable. I don't know if she's colluding with LE. Maybe 50/50 odds on that. The fact that she's giving out her girls contacts is odd based upon her history.

I have chatted with her just to say Hello, (she remembers me but I am remarkable in China - 6'3" Big red haired white guy) and that's as far as it went. I have contacts for her girls but am hesitant to use WeChat to chat with them since Wechat is none too secure with China's Big Brother deal now.

I have to go back to China in 2020 (new position) and don't need to get tagged by Chinese LE before I even arrive. Last time in China was 2015, judging from what I read here things changed significantly. I'd say Rain is tainted until proven otherwise.

Freebie from a hotel spa? LOL. There's no way. I gave a FR in the Beijing thread (probably in January of this year) about the experience. In short, my flight was supposed to arrive in the afternoon. I was going to order outcall before dinner, and then invite an indie over after drinking with friends that same night. But, my flight got super delayed. I arrived at the Crowne Wangfujing at around midnight. So, I just texted Kitty to send over a girl and to my surprise she said that my hotel is too strict, especially because it was so late. OK fellas, I know, this is only my 2nd ever post on ISG, and that I have been a lurker on here for a couple of years, but I hope I can bring something to the discussion.

I have lived in Shanghai for 6 years, and I agree with the posters below that this is by far the worst time to monger in Shanghai, and I'm now thinking of giving up for good. Now compared to some regular posters here, my mongering over the years has been very light. I have no experience of the saunas whatsoever, I have done takeout at Ms only once. Back in 2014 (I can't take anyone home these days for reasons you can probably guess), and my activity has mainly consisted of MPs (Spring etc.) with the usual extras thrown in.

Up to a couple of years ago it was nice, simple, and discrete. But now, given how LE and local govt has cracked down so heavily on the scene, I'm just not in the mood for it anymore. Here are my main reasons:

- However low the risk is, a quick HJ in an MP now just doesn't seem worth it. I run a business here that's going great, and I have an awful lot to lose if ever I was the slightest bit involved in a raid.

- The constant feeling of being watched. Whenever I feel like visiting a MP, more often than not, there'll be some shady looking guy sitting on a scooter in the street near the entrance surveying the situation. Of course I understand he may be there to raise the alarm in case the LE come knocking, but it just puts me on edge, and more often than not, just makes walk away and go home.

- The huge increases in price. When things go from 188 to 600 (or more depending on the tips they ask for) for the same service in just 3 or 4 years, it sure doesn't make you feel like going so often.

- The fact that you can no longer take a shower in the room. The last HJ I had was in July (Ronghua E road in case anyone is desperate for an underwhelming HJ, 298 +200 tip by a slightly plump 6 wearing trousers, plus I'm not even sure it's still open), and I was just wiped down with some hot towels afterwards. Not cool.

So there we go, I think I'm done, unless things to go back to how they were, but I highly doubt it.
