The chicass union is always there working us. It's the guys that live and frequent there a lot that are able to maintain price integrity. The chicas are quickly using there limited movement to their advantage. Quite honestly any opportunity or situations they and use to increase prices is an opportunity indeed. You're right, I've been there only for one day, so I did not had time to check many girls, and I wanted to get laid the only night I was there. At the beginning, some were asking like a 100 dollars for 1 hour, and 150 dollars for two hours. With what I read, I did not want to spend this amount of money, so when she said 50 dollars 1 h30, two pops, kissing and "oral al natural" I said OK.

And I laugh when she asked for a propina at the end. I told her I think it's enough (she also wanted money for the motoconcho, eat and drink stuff from the minibar).

Next time I will be there an full weekend, so I'll try to get a ST for 2500 pesos.

For some reason it says $195 all inclusive. But on Agoda I just booked for three nights executive suite for $170 November. This price includes breakfasts. I had booked at Alicia hotel but they sent me a e mail saying they need to cancel. I guess they are closing for good.

Hope Ahnee resort is still open on my dates. Not much worried about Chicas. I can get them from anywhere because I will have a rental car.

I stayed there once, even wrote a report, but then I got logged out, probably hit a wrong button, pfff, it's gone. I posted it here first, but I'm going to cut and paste it properly in the hotel section. Check it there if you're interested.

To some like me, the lack of regulation is a refreshing change from the nanny states I have lived in. Aside from all the available women, a visitor can enjoy a smoke with his coffee or beer, buy fresh home cooked street food from the locals or the guy with an oil drum BBQ on the empty lot across the street, or hop a moto to the supermarket for a buck.

There are a still quite a few fairly large bars up the side streets that were once thriving, but are now derelict because they couldn't compete with Classico, Rumba and D'Latin. So it seems feasible to move the red light action away from main street.

I like you, find it refreshing, not to speak of smoking a cigar after an expresso. I have walked the street at the end of a meal hundreds of times and rarely have I been accosted even though definitely propositioned which can be answered with a simple " No Gracias" - at least I did. I also would like to remind you of places like the Patpong in Bangkok or the Reeparbahn, in Hamburg which are much more raucous etc.

Sosua has built its name not on family tourism that I know of but now, US and puritan money perhaps is trying to have the Dominicans sit up and wonder if they can have the Benjamins by "cleaning up". Shame they are too puny, unlike the Germans and the Dutch to say "no".

Enough of speculation because the fact is, I do not have access to any plan and I, personally do not care, as long as the island remains unchanged. Hopefully it will.

Now do you really believe out of the blue classico closes down voluntarily. You believe that you fall for anything. Your information is suspect that it closed down on its own.

Sir, I quoted what you wrote. You said Classico closed down by presidential order. Not that it was being shut down. Closed and being shutdown is two different things. One is the present, the other presumes at some future time. Subsequently, you posted something else. A direct contradiction with each other. Thats why I asked, what happened to the presidential order that was enforced to close Classico? Do you know or you don't know? If a presidential order was enforced what did the owners need to do to lift the closing order?
